Used in conjunction with gaslighting, this is often a way people get sucked into becoming the “other person” in extramarital affairs, too.

Years ago, this happened to me. A man constantly showered me with praise every time he saw me, constant compliments, including nonstop references to how I was prettier, smarter,

“Ugh, shut up, Xander” is exactly how I feel about him pretty much every time he says or does anything. Plus it’s what I’m going to say to annoying self-proclaimed feminist nice guys from now on whenever they piss me off.

I was in my 20s when Buffy debuted and had already seen what a creator’s avatar can do to a show. Wesley Crusher became far less insufferable as time went on, however. I could never abide Xander; I found him petty, resentful, entitled to the attention and affection of the women around him, and boring as all get out.

Not just any shopping cart. I know a 99cent store shopping cart when I see one lol. I am also very confused why all the pictures looked like they were driving around LA, found a neighborhood with trees said yup everybody meet here. Like its apartment buildings and parked cars like whose idea was this? All these parks

The main issue with Inara’s character in the show, for me, is not anything about how she’s written or what she does but how Mal treats her. The main character of the show constantly mocks and degrades the sex worker. It’s gross.

Firefly gets like two stars out of five. No matter how you build her up the Space Prostitute is always a bit rough on the gender politics and the tragically damaged hot barefoot chick who needs her brother to look after her when she isn’t kicking ass with her powers may as well have been on Buffy.

Yeah, I would say that what was asked of them back then was nothing compared to the bare it ALL in EVERY way ethos that’s expected of anyone who sets foot on a reality TV show these days. For today’s reality TV, if I’m going to ruin my life and make myself mostly unemployable besides more reality TV and related

I’ve been here too long... they used to pay Hugo Schwyzer

Cabin in the Woods was around the same time as Avengers, so those two together seemed to elevate him from “TV Guy” to “Movie Guy”.

Taylor-Greene did this exactly for the attention this is receiving, and supposedly smart people are being clowned by mouth-breathers. Stop giving these people the attention they are craving.

Let me start by saying, I love Buffy. It’s a fun, witty, well crafted show that it on my constant rerun comfort watch list.

Excited for this!

This piece reminds me of CA Pinkham and all the sexual harassment and other creepy shit he did to women on here while trying to claim male feminist credentials.

Yessssssssss, give me all of this! The Jay Som collab with Annie Truscott was awesome and this single tells me that this will be an awesome collab as well.

1000% driven by America’s lust for Whack-a-mole

My wife who’s Gen X like me hates E.T. Not that she was terrified of it, but that she thought/thinks, um, Zrek was super gross.

He did manage to look good (a bit) around 2001 or so..

From your keyboard to the Universe’s ears...

Has she seriously not updated her music library since 1983"

Oh gee. More cops with literally nothing else to do, needing to justify their existence by making charges up out of thin air to pad numbers.
