Its a testament to the quality of this show and its characters that the phrase "Texas Forever" is capable of turning me into a blubbering mess.

I don't think any scene of television has made me cry more happy tears than Ron Swanson smiling in a canoe with 'Buddy' playing in thr background.

About halfway through FFXIII i came to the realization that I had literally just been walking in a straight line for 30 hours. I put down the game for like 6 months after that. I don't actively dislike any of the 3 XIII games…but they are definitely disapointing

That line he has "Tifa..my Mother..my Town..give it back!" just really hits me like a truck every time.

The stuff with Cloud's memories is actually one of my favorite parts of the game. FFVII does have the problem of just too many left field twists. its much better when it sticks with the small stories of broken people like Barret, Cloud, or Red XIII trying to rebuild themselves.

I just did the Josephine romance and it is possibly my favorite romance in Bioware games. Its just so innocent and fun and adorable. It goes against the usual criticism of bioware relationships as being "give gifts until sex scene" because there's no sex! and its wonderful. Also the little leg kick she does when you

They are largely the reason I stopped describing myself as the member of any "fandom". After every episode theres like a 20 minute period where you're allowed to admit it was quite good, and then a mandatory week long backlash. Its so fucking toxic.

I used to be a fandom person before I realized how unhealthy it was. Loving a lot of things is so much better than loving a handful of things so much you start to hate them and those involved with their production.

I'm not sure even the most pragmatic of my inquisitor's could bring him or herself to sacrifice the chargers

That wizard came from the moon!

Haha, hopefully! I'm from the area originally so my facebook feed is filled with family members and friends from highshool complaining about the snow. I currently live in Michigan so it's not like im escaping the winter

Not yet but soon! We're moving to Boston when finish up grad school in May and the wedding is in the fall.

Yes! Join me in the Final Fantasy X rabbit whole. I forgot how much I actually loved this game. Think the XIII trilogy just soured me on FF for a while, and I forgot that I was actually a huge fan of every game in the series besides those three. I got a vita for christmas and decided it would be my JRPG machine. I am

Battle system wise I still adore 7, but the story hasn't aged incredibly well. THat being said, when it goes small and focuses on telling stories about these broken people you have as your cast of characters its great. Barret, Red XIII, Cid, and even Cloud all have really interesting stories. ANd even though he's

Dragon Age 2 may have had its weaknesses but the character work was really solid. I genuinely wanted people like Varric and Aveline to be my friends and I loved how it actually incentivized you being a dick to people you didn't like.

1. Persona 4: Golden
2. Mass Effect 2
3. Dragon Age: Inquisition
4. FFXII (Yeah Vaan sucks, but i love the rest)
5. Persona 3

If you just power through the story with minimum grinding and minimum faffing about with Chocobos its a solid 35-40 hour commitment. I find most Final Fantasy's aren't too long if you avoid getting sucked into their respective rabbit holes (Chocobo breeding for 7, Triple Triad for 8, Blitzball for 10, etc.).

She comes back in II as well even if you kill her in Origins. BUt seeing as we now know she is an Elven god, it seems less handwavy than Leliana's ressurection

My fiance actually just got me a new 3DS and the new Monster Hunter for my birthday last night. I haven't played since the last PSP release so I hope that I am not too rusty.

Tidus definitely has some sociopathic tendencies. He's also an annoying little shit a lot of the time.
