I don’t work for a utility, but as a contractor I’ve been up close and personal with two shutdowns. No fun for anyone.
If by killing it, you mean every country/state that has decommissioned nuclear plants to “go green” ends up producing a lot more CO2, because their renewable can’t meet the demand and they end up using gas and coal, sure. Otherwise, not so much.
I love the people who ostensibly like the environment, but hate nuclear. The cognitive dissonance utterly delicious.
Florida has a bigger private tactical Air Force, Draken international
Draken International actually has the worlds largest contractor tactical jet air force, and it’s based in Florida...Draken has well over 150 tactical aircraft, and is a direct competitor to ATAC
Having paid no attention to this series, yeah...blowing a 3-1 series lead and then giving up four goals at a rate of one goal per minute in the third period of a Game 7 is typically not getting screwed. It’s imploding.
This is classic Fleury though. This is the Fleury that left Pittsburgh and really didn’t show up much last year (to his benefit.) This the Fleury that watched the Flyers destroy a better Pittsburgh team quickly because they played rough and Sidney and the boys in front of Fleury let it get them off of their game.
It’s a good question. They’ve been making aircraft with CF for decades now and planes regularly see insanely cold temps at 40,000 feet so in general, I’d say yes, the material should handle the temps/stress but I’m sure that depends a lot on the actual material/manufacturing process.
You don’t have to bet. That’s what it is. That style carbon is great for lightness and looks but is prone to failing in the kinds of use it’d see in a truck. This is chopped carbon fibers mixed with some kind of epoxy and molded rather than laid-up like your traditional carbon sheets.
I love both cars, but yes, you were a dullard for sure.
It’s low self-esteem. He thinks he is not important enough for people to care what he thinks and that’s why he feels free to say mean things about people.
Umpire Tosses Dick Who Argued Balls And Strikes; Tossed Ball Strikes Umpire’s Dick And Balls
The Steelers Paid Jeff Reed $7.5 million to get drunk on Carson street and beat up a Sheetz Bathroom.
I rebuilt one of these in my kitchen several years ago. Very simple design, seemed to work well except when the non-replaceable filter gets clogged up with clutch material - the whole thing goes to sh!t. Luckily cleaning the entire unit, replacing o-rings, filter, and clutches was easy.
Exactly! I watched the video, waiting for something revolutionary, but nope; it's just what Honda has been doing for over 2 decades. So in 2040 can we expect them to use planetary gearsets like Hondas new 10AT?
Not just from Honda, but they use new ways of implementing them. Mechanical power transfer is a very mature technology with trillions of dollars and the thoughts of countless geniuses spent for over 200 years now (thousands if one wants to go back through all the inventions and discoveries that eventually got put…
There aren’t enough W88s to arm all of the D5s. They’re too new and there wasn’t enough time between their introduction and the end of the (first) Cold War to make an entire fleet’s worth of them. They’re also heavier than the W76s. The W76s underwent a SLEP program and are now W76-2s. They’ve still got the same…
The D5s can carry either W76-2 (the original W76s have all been upgraded to -2 spec for longevity’s sake) or the W88, which has a nominal yield of 475kt. We don’t have as many W88s, and they’re typically earmarked for harder targets.
The gif looks more like a soldier greeting his dog for the first time after a tour of duty than a fight.
You wouldn’t of happen to of read the same R&T article where they pitted an F1, a Hennessey Viper, and a bunch of other supercars, with the Viper coming second in the top speed and the F1 topped out at 217mph. I based a lot of my,”see, it couldn’t even do 220mph, Murica brahhhh!! Debates on that. I was quite foolish…
