In the vein of the odd Mercedes OM60 filter, have you seen the Frantz bypass filter with precision toilet paper?

I’m wondering if that range is on the Euro cycle (it would make sense that it is). If so, the EPA range (and real world) will be far less. I’m guessing around 65 miles.

And the sludging 3.0 V6s from Toyota!

I laughed so hard I cried.

I would imagine he exaggerated a bit to get his budgets. I’ve known several sonar operators and all of them said none of the Russian subs were that hard to hear. Kockums and U-212 were a different story!

BTW, the same thing happened with the GT-R. Remember how early GT-Rs grenaded transmissions if you used the launch control? The engineering lead at Borg Warner happened to be an alumni of my school. As I was on the motorsports team at school, he came to visit and imbibe at the local tavern. Borg Warner delivered the

5 cylinders are just cooler than 4s.

The real story I’ve heard is that GM delivered the transmission and then Volvo messed with the shift programming to soften it. Those longer shifts ate the clutches alive and killed the transmission. That transmission is no stranger to high power applications. Lots of guys put 500-600 HP through built versions.

I’ll forgive your inability to write if you forgive my improper use of the word “scene.”

Obvious stock sounds, cut in poorly, took me out of every scene.

You can use it with sunglasses. It sees through them. if it can’t see through them, it infers eye position based on the rest of the face.

They are unbelievable when allowed to be. Certainly lots of smart engineers there and a lot of firsts which people forget about. Biggest failing?...They sure do like to pull things off the market just as they get them right.

800-900 HP in any generation Viper is absolutely no big deal and the stock drivetrain will take it. 800-900 hp with a centrifugal blower is even less of a big deal, because they don’t make that power until almost redline. Insinuating that driving a Viper with that power is a big deal means you’ve never driven a Viper.

Precisely!

And a test where the F35 was asked to fly at high AoA, the air equivalent of power sliding.

I personally do think the S60 is desirable over the base stuff (A3, A series, etc.).

The S60...no. The XC90 or XC60 vs. competitive vehicles? Absolutely. The S60 is long overdue for a refresh.

Yes, they can disconnect the front diff for burnouts.

How bad are the deer in Germany? Here in PA, if we had perfect roads, I’d still worry about the freaking deer. Hard to go more than a couple years without smashing into one.

I’ve been through Ausfahrt before!! Then I had two giant schweineschnitzel to remind me of Ausfahrt over the next day!
