I’m a white woman and though I’m brunette, I have the same fine, straight hair that Rachel is sporting in her younger pictures. I cannot for the life of me figure out how she got those “natural” coils. Back in yesteryear when I was going to prom my hair stylist spent hours curling my hair - a combo of hot rollers, a

What about where? Because that’s my only problem with this whole thing, and you keep ignoring it. If they had brought some staff members from a sex shop to school to talk about this stuff, I wouldn’t care. But parents drop their kids off at school every day with the understanding that they will remain at that school

I think you can be friends with someone and still be insulated from their dark side. If he’s a perv/assaulter, I’m sure he’d only do it to people with way less power than him and not his peers.

You’re hating, but I bleed quite lightly and I often only change pads twice a day, and I think I dig this. I didn’t like the cup (though I super support their existance!) so I want to use cloth pads (I’ve cloth diapered my kid so I got it. , and also for the 6 weeks of post-birth bleeding (THAT THING NO ONE TELLS YOU

That’s what the stats themselves are saying, but lumping them together into a single visual like that is not how charts work.

Crying children irritate me just as much as the next person, but the last time I checked, this is goddamn America, and I recognize your right to be on that plane, same as me. Having a child doesn’t mean you have to stop living your life and limiting where you go because your child might, I dunno, ACT LIKE WE ALL DID

People seem to love shouting “ADOPT!” in these conversations as if adopting a living human child were as easy and cost-effective as picking an American Girl doll out of a catalog.

Fuck you. We adoptees are not consolation prizes.

Yo, RE: the method man one, he’s Muslim, so yeah, “pork ass hands” are a problem. I don't eat pork and I certainly wouldn't eat a food that had touched pork.

basically, I think if you are considering international adoption you should ask yourself if part of the appeal would be that the birth parents are not capable of interacting with you legally on an equal basis. Then maybe consider adopting here at home.

Do not adopt from China. I lived in China and my husband is Chinese and I read Chinese newspapers. There are children kidnapped all the time in China by baby-smugglers who supply orphanages, this is a thing. Even if the parents wouldn’t consider several thousand USD worth giving up their child, somebody else might

I’m kind of seeing it. I had never heard of her before this article, and sought out the podcast she was on that someone mentioned above. I wanted to really like her, but the more I listen to her speak, she just sounds kind of dumb.

Wow, so she just met with his mother and then left with him? That seems problematic. If someone is giving up a child for economic reasons, then shouldn’t she - you know - find a baby without living parents and instead help his mother to keep him?

I hate resentful people who think that just because someone is rich, they have no feelings, problems, deep issues, sadness, or a right to be treated like people. Money is not everything.

Right. And also, she’s still a person. It’s shitty to invite people onto your show to talk about their various business endeavors and then go out of your way to make them uncomfortable and embarrassed, no matter how rich they might be.

Good for you.

Fuck Letterman. He gets hot women on his show, ogles them, asks them silly questions and then acts all superior when they give silly answers. It’s a cheap trick.

It’s just him being a fucking bully and it is not fucking cute. That was low hanging fruit.

My therapist simply wrote a note that I presented at the gate. My small, silent dog quietly slept in his kennel at my feet the entire flight. I suffer from extreme anxiety, and my best friend had just died back home (I was flying to the funeral) and had just been laid off from my job so I wasn’t certain if/when I’d be
