Thanks for all the replies. I think the thing I struggle with the most, as a relative newcomer to American Football, is gauging the huge difference between college and pro play. Always baffles me how/why stellar college players can sometimes be complete busts in the NFL.

This may seem like a hopelessly novice question; but which of these QBs, if any, has the best chance to succeed in the NFL? Or are they both destined to be Tebow-esque guys who never achieve their college potential?

Their midfield is 'fucking nasty'? Really? Carrick is their best midfielder and he can't even break into the piss poor English national team. Giggs is ancient, Anderson is fat, Cleverley is meh, Young, Nani and Valencia are basically the same guy. They don't even play Kagawa for some bizarre reason. Their midfield is

No, Mr Howard is the only US based soccer writer I come across because Deadspin is really the only sports blog that I frequent. If you want some good UK and European soccer writers to check out; look for Rory Smith, James Horncastle, Guillem Balague, Gabriele Marcotti and Alex Chick.

I would love to see this video repeated on the set of Fox News with Hannity and O'Reilly. Imagine the material The Daily Show could squeeze out of that!

No that's completely incorrect.

1. He is their best player. I agree. But he comes with so much stupid baggage that Liverpool have actually improved without him. They should have sold him in the summer and spent the money elsewhere. Victor Moses was a great pickup on deadline day though.

Google a guy called James Horncastle. He is the best writer on Serie A you will find.

It is just far too early to be writing an article like this. It would be like saying "oh, my pick for the World Series is 7-13 after 20 games! What a crazy, fucked up season this is gonna be. Give it time to settle. Everton beat Man U 1-0 on the opening day of last season and United still won the league. Just as

Ah ok - TV content must be governed differently on your side of the pond. As a comparison piece - here is what the aforementioned Keys and Gray were fired for. (These guys were the faces of televised soccer in the UK for nearly 20 years).

That's gotta be one of the greatest live TV slip-ups in history. The super giggly reaction from Jimmy Johnson makes it even more entertaining. Any chance they fire him for this? Sky Sports presenters Richard Keys and Andy Gray bit the dust in the UK for making similarly off-colour comments off-air that were leaked.

This is an absolutely superb read. Can't wait for the fight. Seeing this lad knock Mayweather out would be a landmark event in sporting history. God, I hope it happens.

This is where the real fun is to be had re this story. Watching the kid stumble to the touchline then yacking in his hand in front of 60,000 people. HAAAAAAAAA.

The guy's mullet is easily the most disgusting thing in this video.

As someone who has only been watching the NFL religiously for the past 2 or 3 seasons; the thing I find pretty amazing is the level of vitriol and criticism levelled at Tebow and numerous other QBs across the league whose surnames are not Brady, Manning, Brees, Rodgers or, more recently, Luck, Griffin III or

One of the 10 greatest albums ever recorded IMO. Saw them in Manchester - December 2011 and my eardrums still haven't recovered. Absurdly loud.

Yes. This.

Liverpool could sell Suarez, Gerrard, Agger and Coutinho to rivals and STILL NOT finish below Norwich. You are way wide of the mark here. Suarez isn't that important. He may be special enough to make a good team better. But he isn't special enough to make a good team awful overnight just by departing.

As a Liverpool fan I cannot wait to see that piece of shit out of our club. Your assertion that he is one of the 3 best players in the league is correct but Liverpool won't miss him as much as you say. They still have Sturridge and Coutinho up top with Borini, Sterling and Aspas providing competition for places. And
