@Tony Kaye: Aye, I didn't know and my 3gs is on 3.1.3. As there's no way to revert the baseband, I'm anxiously awaiting the unlock so I can sell it once my 4th gen arrives.

This happenned last year with the pre-orders. No one, without error, got their early. And those who did accidentally get them early were asked to give them back (I don't think anyone did though).
