Nope, worse. In the BMW, you can go from R to D with one pull. The way the author describes the Caddy, it takes a pull to the right, then down, down, down. 4 seperate pulls. This isn’t only different from other electronic shifters, it’s different from a traditional one too. Bad design.
The batteries are in the Stow-n-Go wells, so that option is not available on the hybrid.
I always was confused by why a car company would make a whole separate taillight lens for America, just to get rid of the amber indicator when they already had an amber version for the rest of the world. Is it just aesthetics? Wouldn’t it make more economic sense to just make one global lens?
