I love drifting in my Focus RS. AWD, with a 5.0 Cammer twin turbocharged. 880 hp is good. However, I'd like to get some wider tires for it, say 315 instead of the 245s you're limited to. Widebody kits (or even just fender flares) should be offered so that even wider tires can be fit.

I'm 22 now, so this list will certainly expand by maybe 2 or 3 cars in the next few years.

Honestly, there's no time to brace for impact. Got rear-ended by and F-150, actually. By the time I realized it was happening, I had already been hit. Unless you have lightning-fast reaction times, you're not bracing. Better to just have your head rests and seat adjusted properly.

Actually, solid axles tend to hook up better than independent suspensions, as well as being lighter, stronger, and cheaper. The GT500 has beefed up control arms that eliminate wheel hop, too. With the 03-04 Cobra, drag racers were (are) constantly ditching their independent suspension for a solid axle. The damn things

I agree, which is why I have since moved that information to the vanity mirror in my visor.

Had something similar to that happen to me. Speed dropped from 45 to 35, and I always forget about it. This time a Stater came over the hill, pulled up behind me, and waited until I had pulled onto a side street to flip on his lights. I parked it, turned off the car, put the keys in the seat, and had my registration

It depends on the type of annealing. Usually it is for increased ductility for impact resistance and reduced brittleness. This happens because grain size increases. I think it's only full-annealing that recrystalizes. And that happens at 90% of the melt temp and near-instant quenching in water.

Yeah, I was just thinking, the huge wheels make it look more like an aerodynamic, compact wagon.

Been through there before (Must have, took I-90 all the way through). I think I might have stopped at a Burger King there, but I'm not sure. I don't remember. All that I do remember is that it's NOT RITZY

Right outside my work, across the street is an elementary school with a water pumping station right next to the road. A cop will hide behind (next to?) the pump house any time the weather turns foul. Or every four days, whichever comes first. I wouldn't care so much if the school zone speed limit wasn't 15 mph! And

It's fun backing out of a parking spot with front wheel drive. Floor it, crank the wheel to spin it 270 while slamming it in first and taking off before it stops spinning...yeah, got pretty experienced with that one.

My cuz has a Honda CRV that she swears has a V4. I'm doubtful, but I haven't seen under the hood and don't care much for Hondas.

If I don't run premium in my '65 Mustang with flat-top pistons, I'll probably detonate my motor. Just saying.

THIS is going in my "horrible puns" folder.

Hell, I've heard of 30 mpg in an '05 GT! Not sure what was done to it aside from 45 psi in the tires.

I was really hoping they'd do this for the Boss 302. Except with manual windows and locks. But alas, they did end up putting AC and a radio in it. Then again, Laguna Seca probably gets plenty hot in the summer.

Ah, but you see, this one has a radio.

No, that's pretty true. I like to have extra power just so I can get out of the way of a merging semi before I'm crushed underneath its trailer. And to be up to 80 mph by the end of the onramp. Or sooner.

I see. Correction noted. As for the supercharger, if it is smaller, that would be even more awesome, because you just know that you can go bigger. Teehee. Just hope they revise the rear axle geometry ever so slightly to give it a better launch. Just slightly.

If it's the 5.0 being punched out, it'll need to be lengthened since the bore size is already maxed out, and that would put more surface area on the crankshaft bearing surfaces, so there will be a proportional increase in support for horsepower. If it's just a stroked 5.4, then it would still be similar in strength.
