@MasterYong: How many people deserve to die before word gets out that a certain brand is dangerous? What percentage of the blame for their illness do you place on children, who neither purchased the eggs or had any say in the decision?

America, make up your mind. Do you want your government involved in your lives, or not? You can't have it both ways. Tea Partiers can't, in the same breath, demand fewer regulations on businesses and express outrage that nothing was done to stop this salmonella outbreak. Our government was designed from the start

@Live N Learn: I'm sorry you think I'm an ass... but hey, at least you aren't calling anybody names!

@Live N Learn: I'm a little concerned that you are not actually pointing in the direction of "every drug user [you] know," and in fact pointing to people who fit your (and society's) stereotypes of drug users. I don't think it's fair to your children to teach them that people who look a certain way or act a certain

My parents never even talked to me about drugs. They trusted me, and in return I didn't abuse it (their trust.) That's not to say I didn't experiment here and there when the opportunity presented, but I never really found anything enjoyable enough to purchase.

Google doesn't scare me, Facebook doesn't scare me, the whole Internet doesn't scare me; the media scares me.

@Dhaman: That fish has been in betta for ever. I wish they would just release the damn thing.

@Nigerian Business Executive: Facebook users demand changes to the privacy rules, then organize a "diaspora" when Facebook complies because Facebook changes the privacy rules too frequently? Pardon me if I'm not sympathetic to the cause.

Why bother switching when it's far easier to:

Apparently the author hasn't heard of Facebook's elite, top secret, invitation-only, no-holds-barred sister site, Faceboob.

It's the lion den at the Lincoln Park Zoo!

@Agrippa: Yeah, he had some nasty cold sores.

Everyone calm down, any new seat design would have to gain FAA approval, and the FAA moves at a glacial pace to change anything that didn't cause a crash.

@Agagulba: No, lolcats should be left for dead in some desolate, deeply repressed wasteland of our collective consciousness. Pictures of anthropomorphic cats saying meaningless garbage written by child pornographers are not funny.

@badasscat: How many of those airports have the emergency equipment to handle a twisted and mangled 747? How many of those airports are in cities with medical facilities to handle 400 trauma cases all at once?

@Facebook: It's hard to find the final price for military ordinance, but I did a little research and came up with a number for the JDAM program. I realize that JDAM is very different from what we're talking about here, but I think it has parallels in terms of scope and complexity, the kind of which ultimately get

@Facebook: Over the life of the entire class of ordinance, including R&D?

@Facebook: Okay, I guess we'll just go back to spending untold billions on a bomb that "saves lives," and somehow that will make me the douchebag. Whatever.

@Facebook: Carry a relatively weak ordinance but in large numbers and fire/release more as the situation demands.
