@jmeadicicco: Do whatever you want with your own scissors.

But... they don't look anything alike.

@Andinator: As long as they don't lock down the boot loader.

I had something like this going in my SimLandfill game, but then my used-hypodermic needle reactor melted down and I gave up.

I don't think they'll get it right on their first press conference try, but eventually a fix will be made available and permanent.

"Give me your lunch money and your eternal soul!"

@hasdrupal: Here: <—- I bought you some spaces. Insert as directed.

Nevermind, glass walls are great.

@JacobRyan: Well, conventional wisdom would be that wherever it formed would be a relatively calm part of that solar system, because planetary formation takes time. I think the prevailing theory is that gravitational interactions with other planets could send some migrating inwards, similar to how Neptune and Uranus

@TangoTL: The Galaxy S is looking pretty good for rooting. Screw TouchWiz.

@dr.W: That's a really interesting point, and an argument I'd like to see made. Phone manufacturers shouldn't be able to dictate what I do with my own property. That freedom is why I chose Android in the first place.

@Yinzers Are People Too: I'm by no means an Android expert, but I did root my Droid and it was really simple. From what I understand you have to work very hard to brick a Droid just rooting and installing a custom ROM. Even if you do screw up you can always revert to the original software as long as you didn't

@jerkyjones: The planet would have formed farther out and then migrated inwards by gravitational interactions.

A modest reminder that in the grand scheme of things, iPhones and Androids don't really matter all that much.

@red014: Okay, you sound like you know what you're talking about.

The original Droid was my first Motorola phone and I love it still. It's built tough and overclocks like a champ. I generally support companies that treat me well, but if Moto continues doing this I won't be getting another phone from them. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt for now, Moto, but please, please,

@Malkyre: I promoted you because your pain is so palpable. Damn you Moto, indeed.

@Klink: Maybe if you read things you'd know that it can't be rooted. Maybe! Try it!

Well, that's disappointing. I was hoping Motorola would get the message about Blur. Oh well, with the rate new Droids are coming out, there's always next month.
