@G-Squared: I'm not saying Apple and MS don't have a legal right to censor their app stores, I'm saying they shouldn't because it's the wrong thing to do. This is entirely an argument about principle.

So Android will be the only major mobile OS that let's me do whatever I want with the computer I bought with my own money? A note to Apple and MS: censorship is more perverted than pornography.

Pretty ballsy move, considering Apple is already facing inquiries by the FTC and DoJ.

Adam Carolla is much easier to listen to than he is to read, and he's not that easy to listen to.

I'll forgive you, Adam, because you write for a tech blog, but anyone else who runs out and buys a first-gen Apple product deserves to lose their money.

I think what Brian is trying to say here is that he and Steve have officially broken up.

Apple was playing catch-up with this one, and while they set the bar a little higher, in terms of hardware, I would expect the "free market" to surpass it by the end of summer. Overall I think this is a disappointing release. Most of the "innovations" have been available on other platforms (and scoffed at by Apple)…

I'm not a fan of the iPhone or Apple's philosophy, but I do have to give them credit for finally coming up with some impressive hardware. The screen resolution, in particular, is very exciting and I hope this will force other handset makers to embrace high-resolution screens more completely.

This is a good way to balance the scales with all those cars that have iPod adapters.

If he owns a Z4 he can afford a new iPad.
