I agree it would be nice if they had cast some, but Asian American actors have to earn their spots in these types of productions that don’t have a specific race requirement. Maybe L could’ve been an Asian, but that could have been seen as playing into the stereotype of the awkward introverted Asian nerd.

Who’s destroying them? These monuments are being moved to museums and various other places, not destroyed. Not sure where you’re getting the idea that they are being destroyed because that’s basically a strawman argument.

This makes United seem almost unbelievably incompetent. Why were people allowed to board if they knew not all of them were going to be on the plane? Denying someone boarding is way easier than asking someone who’s sitting down to get off.

In what universe is this not just a done-deal massive cash settlement for the poor sap they just dragged off the flight? Even if united had contractual authority to remove passengers for this reason, doing so BY FORCE seems like it’s just making someone a millionaire overnight...

United should have just gotten a rental car for their employees that needed to get to Louisville for the next day. It’s a 4.5-5.5 hour drive according to Google maps.

My $0.02 on 1st gear - I make a very decent living and would consider myself solid middle class. That being said, can I afford the payment on a new vehicle? Yes, I don’t believe that or the increased insurance cost would be an issue. But I simply cannot JUSTIFY the additional cost, and I drive A LOT. I own a used 2005…

We can’t kill them fast enough. But I agree that poison is a bad idea. Plus, they are so much fun to hunt, and the meat is so good. It’s free range, anti-biotic free, no hormones. The real solution is to have whole foods or central market advertise that they get their hogs from local hunters. $$$$$
