This couldn't be more timely. I just decide to go to Paris alone in March. As a woman traveling alone, I'm pretty sure I know how to stay safe, but this was really helpful!

Really depends on the day, ranging from 1-4, but generally I average around 2-3.
Wow, Johnny Depp is still one sexy, sexy man.
I had my bikini area lasered by my dermatologist. Supposedly I was a perfect candidate, pale skin and dark hair. I did several sessions, at 350-400 a session, and while my hair came in a lot sparser, it was never 100% gone and in about 6 months, it all came back anyway. Not worth it. I can't imagine the at home kits…
THANK YOU! I'm loving all these great suggestions that might be off the beaten path.
Thanks—I'm actually really interested in knowing good places to eat and check out at night (since I'll probably be doing museums and site seeing during the day). I'll put these on my list for sure.
OOOhhh thanks for that article. Looking forward to reading it!
Glad to hear it was so restorative and helpful in sorting life out for you. I'm hoping it'll do the same for me. I actually spoke pretty decent French way back in the day, so I'm hoping for this to be a good excuse to practice and refresh it.
I love impressionist art so I will definitely check that out. Thanks!
Thanks for the suggestions!
No not weird at all. I'll definitely check that out.
I just want to thank the MANY Jezzies who told me to "go for it" with regard to traveling to Paris alone. I'M OFFICIALLY DOING IT. I'm crazy excited and I think it's going to be such a good opportunity to not only brush up on my French but to work on being more independent. The bf of 6 years and I are taking some time…
I didn't really notice that his face looked particularly "human" until it was pointed out. I dunno, it doesn't really bother me that much. I really hope he finds a home.
Thanks! And thanks to EVERYONE who has responded. Seriously this wins as most responses to one of my comments ever. You've all really encouraged me to just go ahead and do this. Thankfully, I do speak French (it's VERY rusty but its not completely foreign) and I have traveled a fair amount with other women (plus I…
This is really timely because I've been contemplating traveling to Paris alone in March. I actually wanted to go with someone, but I don't have anyone to travel with (boo hoo, I have no friends). But I confess, that I'm a little nervous about traveling alone...
Just received some really bad news and this did a great job in making me smile, despite the circumstances. Thank you.
I haven't seen this movie in ages. I forgot how ridiculous (and awesome) it is!
Come on, why the hating on James Taylor? He's such a great singer/songwriter and the song is much more low-key than the anthem. The best you could do was use quotation marks around the words "pleasant" and "nice?"
This also made me tear up. I really hope the next four years bring some great things for our country.
If you're looking for a stir fry sauce, I like to make one with soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, a little rice wine vinegar (sometimes some mirin), brown sugar, and lime juice. It's a lot thinner than what I think your orange sauce would be and its very easy to come together. I also like to bake my tofu with…
