@techfox: agreed. Most homes have orangepeel/texture on the walls anyway, that make sanding a bit pointless.

So I suspect that the *fix* isn't really a fix. It's just as others suspected; the clock will fix itself. The HW clock will say it's 3/1/2009, to which the OS Clock will agree.
