This is all I’ve wanted since the original
Humor is fairly subjective, so I’m certain that some people will find this comment funny.
What you mean to say is “I do not believe a topic like abuse should be made light of”.
Your opinion is noted, though unlikely to sway anyone who feels to the contrary.
abuse is often funny, but its never not serious.
The worst offender is this writer for CNN:
I would rank Hellboy II way over and above the original. The first one is a lot of fun, but it feels compromised both in terms of budget and script (Agent Myers, ugh). The second one is just an amazing fusion of Mignola and Del Toro’s sensibilities and influences, and it isn’t afraid to make the monsters the heroes.
Mythbuster’s Adam Savage is known for his fantastic prop building skills and love of costumes. This year, he raised…
Ewwww galactic diarrhea???
Still looking forward to Ant Man. My expectations slowly continue to rise.
I feel like “spoilers” weren’t really a deal back then. I’d like to say it was only around the Sixth Sense or so that there became this movement to avoid spoilers, and to not let people spoil movies, and the whole advertising campaign built around not letting people tell you how it ends and find out for yourself.

All props to Frakes for it, At no point, unlike the other three, does it feel like a long episode, it’s a FILM.
And at the same time, it uses loads of pre-established continuity to build it’s plot, BUT not at the expense of alienating a first time viewer. Quite a clever juggling act.
Okay, this trailer got me more pumped to see this movie than anything they’ve released so far in the States.
As you mentioned in the post Star Trek did have to go through a period of time that was like Mad Max: the Eugenics war and/or WW III (I’ve never been sure if they were the same war).
IO9's obligatory "practical effects are better than CG" snobbery aside, I liked it!
It isn’t because “Nintendo” it is because the producer loves FPS games and his experience with them is that people use voice chat to promote toxic gaming.
Great. Now bring back TaleSpin.
Good. I'd rather see films that straddle that line between art and commerce instead of a multi-million dollar toy commercial.
