Sure, but the clinging to the boxer was the problem. They had plenty of other engines to grab that would have made power.

I want this so bad!!!! Livery and all. The 1/10 scale Supra that Tamiya sold in the 1990's but I can drive it and it makes the vroom noises, yes please.
Toyota casually admitting they could have put a turbo in this car all along...
There is a big difference between towing something that is free to move other than wind and rolling resistance and yanking something that is stuck out of the mud.
Booby trapping your property with explosives would likely result in felony charges. Just follow Mark Rober’s lead and make some stink/glitter bomb packages.
In this case, yes, the Turo insurance should cover this, IMHO (but I would not be surprised if they worm their way out of it). The insured is the owner of the truck, they are in the business of renting them, and it’s not like you can vet who is going to decide to be a vigilante with your truck. So Turo should pay out…
EXACTLY! I can appreciate the non-typical styling of the rest of the truck, but the fender flare/toolbox things just bug me. If they just curved around the wheel arch some, they would look better. Too bad I won’t actually be seeing one of these any time soon in the States...
It looks fine, but these are really bothering me
I’ve always liked the Holden logo.
The Aztek is dead. Long live the Aztek.
In Boeing’s defense, they have to do a bunch of safety testing to ensure that the soap dispenser doesn’t fall off the wall and crash to the floor or have its access door pop open!
yup! good old times.
you do with your own money what you want! You’ve earned it.
If you want to buy a Cybertruck, go for it! It can’t be worse than buying a Land Rover.
I don’t like guns (especially gun policies and regulations that are currently in place pretty much all over the world) but that being said, THAT is still a killer thumbnail. Reminds of the early days of FPS Russia.
I know on my Ford, the automatic emergency braking is disabled above 55 mph. And in general, most auto braking systems won’t respond to a motorcycle, much less something as small as a deer. It’s looking for “car sized” objects.
“Big Boy” conjures up something different for me.
WTF?
We lost the space race back on July 21, 2011 with the final flight of Atlantis. We handed over the space crown to Russia there and then. We should never have stopped launching orbiters without a functional replacement on deck and ready to go.
Man, China never fails to disappoint on the, “we’ll take that” designing.
