The problem there is that then Uber wouldn’t truly know whether or not their system worked or if it was Volvo’s system that worked. Disabling the system actually makes sense.

What happens when you have a lane departure system that is fighting with the autonomous steering system?
They likely stripped in a garage somewhere. Knowing where would be the benefit you would get from a tracker. No guarantee, but it might have helped. I know someone that had a GPS tracker on a delivery truck that was stolen and later dumped and it lead right to the shop where it was stripped.
I really don’t like Uber, and I won’t defend their shitty ways.
good neighbours could maybe just... NOT stand there staring.
seems like a common sense thing that they would do (so as not to have competing systems fighting each other) but thank you for digging into it so we know for sure.
There was a time you could get a very nice Acura NSX for low $30's. I don’t own an NSX. I’ll let the reader do the math.
can you show me the correlation between open carry and gun deaths?
How do you do hand brake turns then? Girls love hand brake turns.
It’s a joke. I was in the Marines. We used to write radio frequencies and other important information on the inside of the windshield with crayon, and then we would have a safety brief telling us to not lick it off.
Bah. I hate Pittsburgh, but at least it’s not LA.
It’s in the state of Minneapolis, which I believe is in East Virginia.
Um, just where is Buffalo, Minneapolis?
The engine lease and tires spending amounts surprised me! Seems high but, well, okay.....
Too many people fight the wheel. I always tell them, “The car KNOWS what to do. It WANTS to correct the skid. It will steer where it needs to go. You just need to catch the wheel, and bring it back the other way to avoid snap oversteer (simplified statement). Work WITH the car. Don’t fight it.”
So dry I had to read it twice. Excellent work.
Zing!
Clearly this car delivery guy has a day job and just delivers cars on the side.
Officer: “Do you know why I pulled you over?”
How do they know a vehicle is not insured? Do they call every insurance agency on the continent to see if they have a record of the car?
