Payload ratings are not based on the calculation: stated payload + 1kg = snapped chassis. They are based on 1) reasonable braking distance with max payload. 2) Anticipated expectations of end user.

The new one’s supposed to be designed with as many “off-the-shelf” components as possible to keep build and maintenance costs down. When you’re servicing 20 planes, each part gets a bit more expensive than if you’re servicing 100+ like the B21 is supposed to be.

Bullshit. I’m 6'2" and get along with the driving position just fine and I’ve put several hundred miles in one. The interior of the new ‘17+ ones are significantly better than the earlier ones.

My wife and I drover her Abarth from Denver, to the Grand Canyon, to Phoenix, and back to Denver, and we had a blast.
