My main point is that from the distance the woman officer was away, it seems implausible that we could hear the acorn all the way from there. That’s like a full block away.

Since they hadn’t recovered the weapon yet, and the guy got back suspiciously fast from the 3 miles away that they recovered the stolen car, he likely had an accomplice. It’s plausible to think that the accomplice may have still had the weapon.

Take this with a grain of salt of course, but a certain high profile Tesla employee claims that this car didn’t even have FSD.

Spoiler alert, but damn that stuff caught me off guard during my play-through. I had such a great White Arabian

Unless there is some crash event, horn honked, or manually pressing the save button, the video footage gets overwritten every hour or so. It just saves onto a flash drive in same way that a dashcam with an SD card works.

Theoretically somebody else could’ve had it, since the car was recovered 3 miles away and they were skeptical he had just walked that far, so there may have been an accomplice.

Around 9:45 in the original video, from the perspective of a different officer on the other side and down the street, you can also hear a noise, and it seemed much too loud especially at that distance to be the acorn, since even the officer screaming sounds too far away.

Is this why this deal is still a thing, even though I think both Charger and Challenger already ended production during the 2023 model year? So are all of these new ones you can get a discount on leftover 2023s?

Additionally, when we covered the camera and kept one hand resting on the steering wheel, the vehicle did not limit Autopilot use or give any warnings to pay attention.

Agreed. They added a safety feature above and beyond industry standard, and still get marked down for it.

The app he controlled the drone with had previously prevented Herbert from operating the drone due to flight restrictions, but that wasn’t the case this time. Because of that, he assumed he could operate it, according to an affidavit reported by the outlet.

That was my thought. At the same time, it’s probably a pretty good carbon capture mechanism to grow the plants quickly

I have a DJI Spark that can be flown with an app and has GPS geofencing. It’s definitely not large nor very sophisticated (but it does have a live stream of the visuals to your phone). With mine at least, which is I think model year 2017, you can’t fly above something like 50 feet until it has a GPS lock, and doesn’t

Really I’m fine with that. I’ve had it on my car for 5 years and never even tried using it. It seems like it’s the type of thing where you don’t trust it until you see it work, but you don’t want to try it because you don’t trust it yet. I’m sure it would be fine, but I just back into spaces myself, and I just avoid

It really shouldn’t be up to the victim to make the lifestyle change to decrease the likelihood of stalking being committed against them.

But choosing to go dance in the middle of the street is quite a bit different than simply walking out the door of your private home, or having someone post turn by turn directions of your private vehicle when you’re going somewhere that is none of their business.

No one chooses to be the victim of stalking. There is nothing she can do now herself to stop it

Seems a little victim blamey to say that it’s a choice to have someone you don’t even know doxing you by posting hourly updates of where you are and where you will be in a few hours from now, especially when the danger level is so high. The thing we (maybe not you and me specifically) is to make this sort of doxing

Yes and no. I mean, nobody should have to put up with stuff like this walking out the front door of their private house every day, because of accounts posting when she’s home, what time she’s leaving, when the plane has a route plan files so they know she’s on her way to the airport or coming home from the airport,

Stalking is a HUGE problem for these people. It is simply not safe for them to go somewhere like a public airport terminal or even the street outside their own house without getting absolutely mobbed by strangers, some of whom cam be violent.
