He seems lovely and I wish everybody well (for whatever random internet commenter wishes count for). But geez this feels so fast to me.

He IS very wrong. It is a very sensitive topic, and he had a wonderful opportunity to make some great commentary on what he has learned about the LGBT community in these divisive times.... But no, he goes for the most milquetoast bland thing he could possibly say and shows his ignorance.

I’m not usually one to clutch my pearls, but imagine it this way.

I agree that there’s generally too much attention paid to entertainers and their opinions, but is saying that because you watch a lot of Ru Paul’s Drag Race you’re “a gay man right now just without the physical act – that’s all” only imperfect according to a tiny group? It seems to me like quite a lot of people would

Saying, “I’m not attracted men in any way but I feel I’m gay since I watched a lot of RuPaul’s Drag Race” is NOT supportive.

What’s frustrating about this revelation—whether or not it was actually the only research he did for the role—is that it is yet another instance of straight people loudly embracing the most pleasant, easily digestible aspects of queerness, while ignoring the struggles that go hand in hand with them.

Totally agree that the headlong is click-baity and in fact very disrespectful to 2Chains who is trying to make a difference in his community. That’s a real shame, Jezebel.

Came to say this. Neither 2 Chainz nor Pink Trap House had any prior significance to me and from that perspective the headline sounds like a public health issue associated with them, rather than like a positive health initiative.

The headline makes this sound a lot more ominous than it was.

I feel like there’s more you need to tell us about your feelings on Amelia. And Tilda.

He could...eat it there...?

Chambers’s interview reads as a salient and too often unspoken critique of the way capitalism has poisoned the fashion industry

Pretty much.
