I like that theory much better than the crap we got in the Wanda Sykes episode. One of the few episodes I have no desire to rewatch.

Probably a holdover robot religion from the pre-alcohol fueled robots. There are probably old-style robots still running around the Futurama universe, which I guess would make Robot Jesus a non-polluting, very well programmed robot.

Well, you could ask that about a lot of the robots, I mean, Tinny Tim? That just seems cruel. My theory with Hedonism-bot is he was a different kind of robot who became rich and then upgraded himself INTO Hedonism-bot. It's probably a life-goal for many robots.

I envy your discovery! I wasn't a huge fan of the Mutual of Omicron episode when it first aired but it's grown on me after repeated viewings. I think it's one of the better late-period episodes.

So where do we all land on the fanwankery of robot morality and electricity? This episode adds to the possibility that an electric shock might play a part in a robot's antisocial behavior. Was the Temple of Robotology set up to counter the widespread amorality of Futurama's robots, or was it an existing institution

Although I dearly love the Robot Elders bit I'm going to say GGI's "IGNORE ME!" is funnier because he doesn't really want people to ignore him. Also because he screams it at a baby.

Given there's a non-zero chance for players to go home as a souvenir with one of the spectators I'm willing to bet there's a very real possibility of death during a multiball.

Things have settled down recently, my medical issues are stabilized and I'm back at work, so I'm dipping my feet back into some old haunts ('old haunts', jeez, it's been less than a year.) But Zach (and Idiotking!) doing Futurama is definitely worth the time.

I love that the human test administered by the guard robots essentially has 2 and a half correct answers, the data file, the pretty flower, and presumably a robotic puppy (the non-bad kind) would also have worked.

I think you're thinking of the dialogue between Fry and Ethan "Bubblegum" Tate in the "Time Keeps On Slippin'" episode:

I want to give a link to the recording of LBJ ordering pants that @miosef21:disqus mentioned because it's so wonderful; if you have 17 minutes give it a listen. One of the highlights is of LBJ straight up belching into Joe Haggar's ear over the phone.

I love that all the different companies brought along their professional-looking mascots, and then the Perky Jerky guy seems to have just stapled Perky Jerky bags to his jacket.

Oh yes, I've been jonesing for CKII ever since I heard about it. It's already on the list.

All the pieces for my new gaming PC finally arrived so this weekend I'll be building the box and putting it through it's paces. To that end, I need to go on a mini Steam shopping spree and buy some games that I didn't have the juice to play before. I'm definitely looking for recommendations - I like RPGs and

What are you playing it on, if you don't mind me asking? I loved BG when it first came out and if there's a chance I can play it on a handheld I'd love to, but the only Android device I have is a smartphone so I wonder if the screen real estate will be enough to do the Enhanced version justice.

Happy Friday Gameological! Our most-commented article this week was AJA's For Our Consideration with 340 comments. Next up, the Top 5 Most Liked (non-KG) comments:

I loved this movie as a teenager, absolutely loved it. I did recognize at the time how ridiculous it was (one of my favorite unintentionally goofy scenes is of Pierce Brosnan trailing off as he tries to explain the endocrine system) but nonetheless it instilled in me a lifelong love of Jeff Fahey, who tries his

The Harley Quinn redesign, both the visual and the characterization. Absolute, utter shit that ruined a great villainess.

Netflix also has the 2-season run of Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes which are some excellent superhero cartoons and a great introduction to the Marvel universe. The show doesn't quite reach the level of complexity that JLU toons do but they have some excellent superhero action, relatable and well-developed

I got it from Geekosystem, a generic, nerd-focused news aggregator, who apparently got it from io9. It's super addictive, isn't it? I don't know how they got some of those high scores - you'd have to pack a couple of dwarf stars in that 2AU orbit, but I don't know how you'd get it to last for 500 years.
