So I just got my tax refund back and I'm finally going to get to build a new gaming PC. However, I want something that's a bit portable; I'm not looking for anything laptop-sized, just something I can unhook and throw into a backpack to take to a friend's house or a LAN party. I've found a few mini ATX cases that

The days are getting longer, the temperature is getting warmer, soon we'll be able to drag our consoles outside and play our video games in the fresh air! Our most-commented article this week was the Q&A on unnecessary sequels with ### comments. All of our Top 5 comments this week come from the newswire about the

Dangit, I must have accidentally converted to Space Lutheranism! Actually, I think I just closed my Excel window too soon. This is your second selection, bringing you to 4 studs total.

Alright, let's just dive right in. Our most-commented article this week was the inventory about X-ray vision with 291 comments (because I skipped that other, dubiously included Inventory; seriously, the Star Child!?). And now, the Top 5 Most-Liked (non-KG) comments:

So is the goal of Daylight to search the asylum for a working electrical outlet so you can plug your phone in because the battery keeps dying?

Bite your tongue, dammit.

Well, the Book of Revelation goes back to ~100AD I think, but most religions seem to have some sort of belief not just in an afterlife but in a day of Judgement as well. Islam has it's fitnah, Hinduism it's Pralaya, the Jews are still waiting for their Messiah (who will be preceded by a time of troubles), the Norse

I agree with you, but I feel like there are some unique facets to modern fears of a crash. All of those stories have elements of a return to nature, a rediscovery of a "simpler" way of living, but fears of a post-Apocalypse play directly into humanity's narcissistic, solipsistic tendencies; it's not just about

That's basically where I am too. If society somehow reverted to a pre-technology point I'd have to go be a consumptive bootblack or something.

I love Samantha channeling her inner Principal Skinner - "Prove me wrong, John, prove me wrong."

John rocking the mic, Matt rocking a badass beard, it was a good Digest.

I was hoping someone would give that answer. The way I heard it was "Methodists don't recognize the authority of the Pope, and Baptists don't recognize each other in the liquor store."

Dammit, @JudgeReinhold:disqus beat me to it!

A great article on a great topic. AR is one of my favorite shows exactly because the appraisers all wear their passions on their sleeves. I can't think of another show that emanates such a feeling of pure joy. I also love that Lowry straight-up called Teti out on that quote, but in a friendly way.

Limited gaming time for me this weekend, but I may jump back into Skyrim and I'll probably fire up a really easy Civ 5 game. Sometimes you want a challenge, sometimes you just want to steamroll everybody.

That sounds like a cool job. Enjoy yourself - we'll be here when you get back.

Don't forget the G.I. Joe aircraft carrier!

Making $100, more like.

Calling this a 'debate' is being generous. He's just an old man yelling at clouds.

Ah, I see, the evidence does exist, but you don't have access to it, and it's so easy to find that you can't be bothered to look for it in between all of the fake evidence. The problems of having a massive intellect, eh? Anyway, toodle-pip, and have a great day!
