Of course it will (well, its bound to falloff eventually... but it won’t be because of this). I know the modding community likes to think they are the be all, end all.... but they actually make up a small fraction of gamers. That’s why companies don’t fear doing things that might upset the community.

Idk what law school you went to, but you should get your money back. You have no legal right to modify someone else’s game without their permission. I know these guys suggested otherwise in their statement but they are wrong and would have lost had they attempted to fight this.

Its not uncommon for consoles to be sold at a loss. Console companies don’t make money from hardware.... they make money from services and software. Every time you spend $60 on an Xbox game, Microsoft gets a piece of that no matter who developed it. That’s where they make money, not hardware.

A lot of older Resident Evil fans, myself included, wanted to see the game go back to the style of play from the early games. Perhaps not the fixed camera view, but a less action focused game.

RF Guerilla is still to this day the most technologically impressive game I have ever played. The story wasn't all that great, but the destruction system was simply amazing. Too bad no other developers have bothered trying to add true dynamic destruction to their games... it really was a blast to play with.

A much better solution to the maps getting blown to hell too quick would have been to not give everyone a grenade launcher...
