*shrug* Twitch and livestream stuff tangent I guess? Let’s not resurrect the whole “Stay in your lane” fiasco that basically killed Deadspin.

I live near Buffalo NY, the church I attend started doing virtual services to immediately comply with Governor Cuomo’s rapidly changing orders in March. It’s definitely different but the church leadership seems to be adjusting. That said in the comments of their livestream on youtube, we had one guy who was

At the same time he basically became MORE moody and less interesting, so there is that.

Eureka was my immediate thought. That show was sad and somber? I don’t know why but I thought it was meant to be more comedic from the previews I saw.

Jedi Outcast and Jedi Academy were quite good at one point, but definitely have not aged well. I loved that Outcast basically made a T-Rex a Sith antagonist. We really do need someone to actually make a good spiritual successor to the series though, something with the ability to mod your own levels and such in.

Ni No Kuni was a game I wanted to like, however computer AI partners suck. I suppose that’s what you should expect from a DS game turned into a PS3 game and whatnot.

I’ll probably enjoy the spoilers for the time being and buy the remake after the hype dies down. Give it the good ol’ seasonal distancing until discount prices happen.

Been playing a modded run of Fallout 4. I’ll see if I get far this time or not. Usually something distracts me, although the upcoming gaming scene is seeing cancellations and delays abound so maybe there will be no distractions this time.

Some good follow up questions! It’s been weird to see so much about this guy lately, between the podcast last Summer and the Netflix series. Now I’m reading in the news that he’s demanding a Presidential pardon.

Bob Odenkirk would be a good choice too. Some of Joe’s commercials follow the exact same cadence that Bob uses for Better Call Saul commercials.

Doom Eternal is still pretty great. Where I think it falters is just that there are SO MANY BUTTONS that you need to use at like any given time. It’s pretty rough to get used to.

I would have appreciated more moments like when you take over the Revenant to retrieve the Super Shotgun. That created a nice little change of pace in that level.

Doom is an interesting intro to FPS. I dunno, I think if you want to try getting into FPSes my recommendations would be Halo: Combat Evolved or Half Life 2. Both offer different experiences. If you were going to try the Doom series again though I would go Doom 2016 before Doom Eternal. I like Doom Eternal’s mechanics

Pretty sure the only requirement is 3 fuel, which is a rare get.

Marauder specific tips:

They are definitely designed to be frustrating. It’s interesting too since they all introduce enemies earlier then you would actually run into them.

It’s good to avoid chainsaw fuel tanks if you can though since it does recharge the last one. Pick them up AFTER a firefight so that you can open with a chainsaw to a Mancubus next time.

Pretty sure I have seen one video stating it’s for a “secret ending” type deal.

I could have made that more clear, I meant flu vaccine.

Seeing how combating the outbreak is a developing thing, I think there is only one thing that one could advise right now: Get your vaccine. Most health insurance covers it in the US with no cost to the recipient as it is preventative care. It’s no panacea but it helps combat things that could make you more susceptible
