I would wager she would be better off tossing the place of privilege out the window and fading from the limelight. If she gets dragged back into it though, definitely use it to promote what’s better for society and not what’s worse for non-white people.

There is no tax, this is just stating that you need to pay the fines placed on you before you can vote. So in essence they can continue to prevent those that were formerly incarcerated from voting by enacting steeper fines that they have no way to pay.
