For me it’s just easier to deal with certain enemy types - the ghosts and harpies specifically.

The lore is all right. I think the story can be trash at times and I would’ve preferred a more chatty dragon. Grigori chiming in now and again would’ve been cool.

Episode 3 probably had my favorite intro credits video of the games, although the previous two were definitely stellar.

Yeah I would restart, I did that my first playthrough as well. The Metal Golem drops materials needed for upgrades and the later one is a random encounter at the post-game, so this one is a more consistent source.

I didn’t mind Dark Arisen as it sort of expanded the enemy roster in a few areas that were needed.

The game is horribly balanced from start to finish. Before you get to Gran Soren the toughest enemy you face isn’t a Golem, a ghost, or a Cyclops, it’s a freaking bandit in a group of other bandits that holds a double handed weapon. Yeah FFXV’s overall story is a mess and its supporting cast is almost worse than FFXII. However the main characters are much more memorable. I credit the voice actors partially on that.

Final Fantasy XV even surpasses it for me if only because I actually cared about the main characters in that.

For me the game was fun however the story was predictable and the characters were relatively plain. I think Ashe, Basch and Balthier were the only interesting ones and that was mainly because the other three characters lacked any memorable personality.

I think someone from Gold Rush would be more apt. 

I forget was Shovel Knight built for the 3DS right out of the box alongside the PC and other versions? If so that may be why they did this, to work with the 3DS’s 3D feature.

I tend to be fine there so long as a physics mod isn’t installed or a mod that adds in travelers in that area.

I’m curious how it handles them carriages as they are notorious for hitting bumps and launching into space.
