Barry has a choice though: Turn himself in, and be done with the killing. He faces life in prison, but it’s ownership of his actions and fully accepting the person he was was in fact a murderer.

I dig the flat shading approach they used with the Darth Vader Lightsaber.

Thank goodness this is a work of fiction and not autobiographical.

This comment is establishing in my head why I’m loving this show so much. It’s Fargo all over again.

That whole sequence made me chortle. The Albert story was very relevant though and I’m glad the outcome was different.

At the same time both Barry and Sally want to present THEIR versions of themselves without accepting the consequences of their current actions (Sally) or by their previous actions (Barry).

The twist at the end blindsided me a bit, but then again it is highly foreshadowed since the first episode of this season.

FOUR YEARS? Holy hell, MOBAs take forever in some ways.

Which means that if she was going to pursue it, it would be better in her second term.

Here’s the rub though: Gun rights is an easy one to boil down to a for / against parties, which is why it is a hard issue to crack.

Sorry difficult to put entire thoughts on an iPhone as Chrome AND Safari seem to hate Splinter’s comments.

Senate is currently GOP controlled. If that remains the same in 2020 then expect massive opposition

While this is a great position to have, it’s also one that famously drives the opposition out to the polls every time. It might help her in the primary, it’s gonna work against her in the general.

Hah! Fair. I think the argument is more that majority GOP base DOES watch Fox and said base got Trump elected last time.

Forgiveness on the interest rate then, if it was deemed too stupidly high to begin with?

Pretty sure college students make a good chunk of the voting populace and probably lean more left and right, so I’m seeing this as a competition for getting primary votes over general election votes when discussing college debt forgiveness and the like.

I’d have to check the polls in the past but I’m pretty sure both exist in rather safe seats that’d go Democrat after they leave.

I’d think her reaction would be a panicked smile and quick dash to the elevator before answering questions.

Have you been paying attention? The majority doesn’t matter in the general election still.

So in a vacuum this sounds good to me. Now I need to check out how this balances out with the other policies proposed that say “Tax the rich to pay for them.” just to make sure the amount taxed is still viable.
