Plus it takes a bit to pop up. When it does it’s usually when fighting bosses where it’s best to use your cash and skill points ahead of time.

Asking for it here isn’t going to matter. Sign a petition at least.

Yeah there’s plenty of cheese strategy videos up for the roughest bosses already. I’ve looked them up every time I find myself dying to a boss. For example, the bull boss? Saw a video where someone just suggested running instead of fighting it like a normal boss. Helpful as running is usually not the strategy to use.

I’m saying it’s up to the artist and not the consumer what the artist does. Critique the work but don’t expect that they have to follow it if they already have a fan base they prefer selling to already.

EpicNameBro’s good at giving tips during his let’s play which can help you scout out the game a bit before diving in.

English voice actors are good in the game so I keep them on. I’m pretty sure one of the Memorial Mobs is Marvelous Chester’s voice actor.

much if the difficulty is tied to enemy AI and timing. Damage tweaks might make it so you stay in a fight longer, they’re not going to make enemy behavior easier though. Not without making them dumber or adding some slow down to attacks.

Yeah unless easy mode tweaks AI severely I’m unsure how much damage tweaks will make the game all that easier. Not unless they remove stun locking.

I favor Bloodkiro Souls myself as it at least gets the order right.

Yeah the flip side of this discussion is how to handle harder difficulties, which tend to take the easy mode and just inflate values. Bullet sponges make the game harder but not more fun.

Good old Dragonrot. I’ll take it over Hollowing.

From did a decent job this time around making sure bosses had accessible save points to cut down on the repeat grind - no gauntlet to get to Nito in this.

It’s not saying art should only be accessible to a few people though, it’s making the point that you shouldn’t be able to demand an artist to change their work because it doesn’t meet your standards. Don’t buy it if you do not like it.

Oh I spoil the crap out of these games when I get stuck. On the plus side the Estates area gives you more to do before taking on the ogre if you wish to push that off.

This is why I tend to enjoy the From reddit communities. There’s salty posts all the time however there is also a community offering tips to help. Also previous games had summoning to help with the boss balance.

Technically you are if you are asking a company to make their game have an easy mode.

I need to check but I’m pretty sure King’s Field also lacked difficulty settings. From likes. To just do one set difficulty with NG+ modifiers.

Good man on that one really.

On the plus side Let’s Plays allow you to enjoy story without playing.

So long as AI and game design does not suffer in the pursuit of an easy mode.
