I believe he initially expected himself to be sacked so maybe this is a sign that the AG isn’t going to fire him?

He apparently has also said he is not going to recuse himself from the Muller Investigation.
I thought the main thing was that he expected to be fired by the new AG.
I doubt that they would have an incentive to change it. At the end of the day they would still be facing the Republican House and Senate members still voted in at those smaller states, as well as in the coastal states where districts do not contain large cities.
If he’s thinking that, it’s going to be behind a visage of thumb-splitting rage tweets.
It would be per state to decide how they handle their EC votes, so no you cannot force them.
I think he’s earned that spot at this point. I’m sort of curious on what the decision came down to though. Did he discover more things to investigate adjacent to Muller’s job? Will we be seeing more Cohen-likes raided in the upcoming future?
5Th Avenue is like the better Butterfinger I think.
The downside is the fact that it’s state level government changes, which are more bound to change then federal. Get the right people in office and it can all be undone.
Not necessarily. Individual states determine how their electoral votes are handled. This is why Maine does an even split.
Fair. There’s working harder and then there’s working smarter though.
It certainly adds to the things he can form his rhetoric around.
I can get behind this. You really don’t scrap the electoral college directly, you just have each state have their electoral voters match the overall popular vote. I like it!
That’s fair I suppose. I welcome it, I just expect this to also get many Republicans out to vote as well.
Unless it motivates more Blue then Red in swing states, that’s sort of moot right now.
The 2019 iteration looks a bit more tired.
I want to see it addressed too, I just do not see a Presidential campaign being the area to address it.
This is...not good. We really do not want the status of the Electoral College to be the focal point of this election, hopefully it does not become that. That’s the sort of single issue voting that will drum up Republican support against Democratic support.
Yeah that too. It’s not childish behavior, it’s entitled childish behavior.
So much money into this campaign already. Good grief someone should make a Producers riff on Presidential campaigning.
