I will forever maintain that Up is their best album.

The Civil Wars caught lightning in a bottle for the first album.

If The Snowman isn't part of your Christmas viewing schedule then you're doing Christmas wrong

The Borgias is in the running for most improved series over the course of its run.

Promenade has the advantage of being a concept album that already has a narrative about 2 lovers at the seaside.

The Divine Comedy, in particular a musical of the Promenade album.

Closest I can think of is So Why So Sad, but that was post 2000

Was going to say the same thing.

Love Bob,
Love Long Good Friday
Especially love that shot

The Carpenters - Goodbye to Love

I can quite believe many parts of it haven't aged terribly well. I've not seen it in full since it originally aired.

Wonderful to see Our Friends in The North getting some love.  Pretty much the 4 greatest Brit actors of their generation (Eccleston, Strong, Craig & McKee) get their careers launched thanks to a tremendous, era defining show.

Yep. Got a lot of Police Squad DNA in it, and more than lives up to that lineage

The ultimate David Bowie cameo is the intro he did for The Snowman

If only she could have gotten some kind of exposure at any one of the big international events staged in London last year.

Oh, and probably been said before but there's something wrong in The Newsroom coming back and The Hour getting canned

This is absolute hogswash.

Oh completely, but chair shots don't explain away all the supposedly fit and healthy young men who dropped dead at a young age with these enormously enlarged hearts (bulldog, Guerrero, Bossman etc)

Its not a competition in the same way as most sports but it is an activity where being bigger, stronger, faster is definitely an advantage.
