Most retired laptops simply are not powerful enough to stream 1080P content. It takes a powerhouse of a processor to do all the work if you can't take advantage of GPU acceleration (in which the majority of laptops have weak integrated graphics)

What's the weather widget?

Should I get an LCD/Plasma, or a DLP rear projector? Space is not an issue since I do not plan on mounting anything to a wall and I have components that are equally as deep as the projectors.

@T-RO: Join xda, read the posts for 30 minutes to get the basics (and to thoroughly confuse you), ask your first question clearly, get your answer. It all becomes easy if you put in any effort.

@T-RO: Now that you mention it, I have the same problem with my Motorola T505 car speaker. Post back here if you discover a fix, I'll do some googling too.

@JabbaB: JIT has been enabled on the Hero already (2.1 yes, but better than than a kick to the crotch). Been working flawlessly for me...

DO NOT FEAR FELLOW APPLE-ITES! The same thing happened with the iMacs and Apple addressed that immediately!
