I couldn’t agree more. Felons and ex-cons are still subject to the laws of the land. They should have the same right as everyone else to have a say in how they are created and administered.

I grew up as the grandson of a klansman in rural Appalachia (I suppose I technically still am but that evil bastard is long dead). We don’t have to be the people that raised us; we can strive to be better. We should strive to be better. Why continue to make the mistakes of our ancestors?

That’s a good debate actually. As a new yorker, new york Italians are truly a bunch of assholes. But they tend to only target poc. Boston Irish based on my experiences in Boston still hate on Italians, Jews and French people.( I’m guessing they were French Canadian not actually French.) on too of their hatred of poc.

six of one, half a dozen of the other.

Don’t forget the ceremonial “dragging of the asian” off the plane.

Basic voting rights should never be taken from anyone, no matter what they did. And if people are worried that there are so many people in prison or who have been in prison that it could distort elections, then that should be a clue that we are jailing too many damn people and that our “justice” system is in dire need

I was about to point out that same part of the post. How are these laws not a part of every society? I bet Trump thinks Tunisia is a shithole.

Who tends to be more racist: NYC Italians or Boston Irish?

“demonstrate to the public, and to remind the judiciary, that racial bias has no place in our judicial system.” And yet the justice system is littered with racism.

Whereas here in America, the home of freedom, throw off the black folks to appease the racists.

F*** him. He needs to be removed from the bench - NOW.

Thank God there is some good news - despite wypipo’s best efforts to prevent it.

If an ex con can run for US senate in West Virginia, I dont see why they cant vote

He’s gonna be Trump’s next nomination to SCOTUS. Scalia 2.0

Great, so now he can get a jump start at eroding the self worth of black people by switching him to the juvenile division. Is this for real?

“moolie” sounds like something you’d hear in Sal’s Pizzeria

And even if he grew up like that he is a judge now and he should now better.

Moolie is used a lot down in South Florida. A ton of the transplants from New York use it.

The only appropriate reaction is to exclude outspoken racist from society. It’s their choice to behave antisocially. The consequences should be theirs to bear. Drive them out, again and again.

Last year, a bill was passed in Tunisia that would would criminalize discrimination and especially racism.
