Most likely because this wasn’t the first (black) customer that was overcharged. The employee did say they usually charge “niggers” more. He was bold as fuck to say that because he has likely been getting away with it for a long time. He also demanded the payment in cash so there isn’t a record.

They are Aramark employees, who were fired from the school. It means they can no longer work at NYU and were more than likely just moved to one of the many other companies Aramark has a contract with. It didn’t say they were fired from Aramark.

It’s only a gray area when you dismiss the fact that this isn’t the first time this has happened to him. The first time he was straight out told to go back to playing basketball. These racists opted for the shortened version.
