Eliminate the dealership sales model entirely and only have test drive showrooms. You go to a showroom, test drive the model of the car you want, and then place your order via a portal that eliminates the sales and finance staff entirely. This should be a straightforward, simple process, instead it’s filled with

Thank you. I’ve been yelling this from the rooftops for a few years. Battery stations should be analogous to gas stations.

There’s absolutely nothing to fix with the car industry. Everything is running super smoothly and the industry is offering quality products at very reasonable prices and the dealers always focus on their customer’s needs and budget.

You wouldn’t buy the pack. All packs would be a leased where there would be an up-charge for the beefy pack and a down-charge for the light pack. And given how people love not spending money when they don’t have to, only lugging a light pack where you spend less money and commit less crunch to the highways would be

Since I am short on time today I am going with a non-serious answer.

It’s a great idea in concept. The challenge becomes: How do you know the quality / cell health of the pack you are swapping to? If I just invested in a new car with a brand new pack, do I really want to swap that out for one that’s had hundreds of charge cycles?

Eliminate all dealers. You have to order straight from the factory.

I turn 70 in less than a year, and I drive a NC Miata and an Golf Alltrack - both manuals. If I had a boatload of cash to waste on cars I’d get a GX 550 and a LC 500 / Emira / Boxter GTS 4.

Corvettes and brodozers.

They simply cannot get enough of these piles o shit.

The “added context” to the embedded Tweet says that this offer applies to the cost of the Egg NFTs, but not the associated zoo tokens.  If someone bought both, and accepted this refund, they presumably couldn’t sue for the lost value of the other.

“As I said a year ago, CryptoZoo was derailed by bad actors. Bad actors who DID steal money and who betrayed our team while internally sabotaging the game,” Paul said in part of the X/Twitter post.

Only offering refunds for the Base Eggs and Base NFTs (value in Etherium - which is of course worth less dollar value than when when the NFTs were sold) and if you take that refund you are also giving up any claims for the ZOO tokens or Hybrid NFTs (which they are not offering anything for)

I played the Alex Jones game so you don’t have to. AMA.

Looks like it was designed by Teenage Engineering.

I think the film comparison is pretty apt. There are plenty of “small” movies that people might consider indie that are backed by major studios/production companies. There can be things like the production of the movie itself having a low budget while spending a fortune on promotion, award campaigns, et al. There

Even though she wasn’t involved in the slightest with the project. Granted, I never expected what is basically an adaptation to get a nod...it still feels out of place to essentially ignore the best-selling single-player game of 2023.

That’s a given. The world tried a boycott that if anything, bolstered sales. Anything attached to JKR is pretty much tainted and no one wants to be the one to give it awards as that would be seen as giving JKR more publicity.

sooooooo then Spiderman 2 shouldn’t be on the list either by that logic.

“Once you get bored of the sandbox stuff” - legitimately haven’t and still find things to fuck around with after all this time and have trouble putting it down once I start playing - Spiderman 2 hasn’t done the same for me

My only gripe with this years nominations is Zelda TotK. It’s just a repeat of BotW once you get bored of the sandbox stuff. It shouldn’t be on the list.
