It’s worth noting that playing Overwatch on console means you’re playing with an Aim Assist feature. There is currently (to my knowledge) no way to disable this feature on console and it is not present on the PC version of the game. This would ostensibly have some impact on transitioning from one platform to another.
Leveling issue: I’m not sure if this has been brought up before, but the new intro music seems consistently way too loud compared to the rest of the podcast volume (25-40%). This is exacerbated by the fact that SimpleCast allows one to mute volume but does not provide an in-element volume adjustment. Just a heads up!…
A lot of the PC pride comes from building the system yourself and customizing it, so people kinda tend to lump laptop buyers in with people who buy any pre-built powerful desktop. They might have bought a cool system and spend serious $$, but it might not have the same personal touch or effort behind it. Like car…
You should be. I only dug out my unplayed copy last year and beat it, but man what a game. It’s a superb product if you’re willing to let it be different
I don’t know about embarrassed. I suspect he’s a big part of it. She took her son to EVO 2015 while cosplaying as Vega from Street Fighter. Seems like it runs in the family : D
Larry did a decent job all things considered. The material was on point, but his delivery maybe needed some work. The WHCD is a notorious tough room to work and odds are 50/50 you’re going bomb regardless of the material (I’m looking at you Joel McHale). It must be pretty rough taking fresh almost untested material to…
This match was electric. I’m only sorry TY wasn’t able to put together his first big win. As unbeatable as Zest has looked, TY cracked his armor before all was said and done teaching a master class in pulling apart mid-game protoss. I’m excited to see how long Zest can continue to dominate in LotV.
These may not be the candies Snacktaku deserves, but they’re the ones Fahey NEEDS right now.
Well, the price of retail games has stayed the same for 10 years despite rising development costs. $40 for the base game seems pretty reasonable, all things considered.
There used to be an old Gaming PC building maxim that you should look to spend 40-50% of your total budget on your GPU. If the rig is being purpose built for gaming, you only need so much CPU power (as compared to graphical horsepower). If you’ve already bought a ‘decent cpu’, you should be looking to spend $250-500…
Sure! White-Ra uses two offensive units in this game. The round flying Mothership Core hero unit can shoot ground units and can use the Photon Overcharge spell to make pylons shoot stuff for 11 seconds. He also uses a ground unit called the Adept which is kind of like a ranged Zealot. Adepts can also send out a green…
This was more of a fluke. If the opponent had scouted and saw that White-Ra didn’t expand, he would have known to expect some kind of immediate attack. Not having to spend money on expanding means Ra would have a more powerful push in the short term, but a terrible economy should his attack be repelled. White-Ra…
White-Ra builds 3 pylons which he cancels building almost immediately. His opponent had his own Mothership Core which used it’s own photon overcharge to defend, so White-Ra canceled his first 3 pylons and remade them, further back out of range. White-Ra then brings in 2 Adept units (basically ranged zealots than can…
I’m confused. First they add in Photon Overcharge on Sept 3rd. Then they nerf it on Sept 17th taking the duration from 21 seconds to 11. It was then that pylon rushing lost its efficacy. And yet, this video was uploaded yesterday on the most recent patch.
The over the top action choreography reminds me of “Haloid” by the late, great Monty Oum. Maybe it’s a subtle nod?
I’d argue that while Anub’arak IS technically a warrior, he’s not really a tank. As far as I’m aware, he has the lowest health pool of any warrior (heck, even Azmodan has more). He gets sustainability points from his beetle/ult life-steal and engagement points from his CC and evasion. As far as damage is concerned, he…
Man, that game was great! I buddy of mine just started playing the copy I lent him (though i doubt he got farther than I did. Some parts were tough) For the time, the voice acting was incredible. It really drew you in.
