Wait a sec! We shouldn’t be paying to resurface Canada’s part of the lake! We’ll make Canada pay for that!

I’ve seen these on several planes from a number of carriers for a while now. I’m not especially worried. I’m not doing anything illegal, embarrassing or incriminating on an airplane, so what evs. Its also not an angle where it can see what I’m looking at on my own phone or laptop. In fact, the trend seems to be more

Hah! My E21's brake lights AND turn signals work just fine! Just don’t mention the back up lights and the passenger tail light.

Was it this guy?

Now playing

I’m not an owner, so my information comes 2nd hand (from the internet). The issues center around specifically the V12, which is essentially 2 straight 6-cyl engines joined at the crank. There’s two intakes, two engine computers, two sets of sensors and all that stuff, and its a bit tricky and finicky keeping both

That sucks. I genuinely don’t want to know about the cars in my past.

There’s some older Bosch fuel injection parts that were made from pure unobtanium. The D-Jetronic systems (1967-1979, mostly European cars like Mercedes, Volvo, Porsche, etc) have a manifold air pressure sensor that looks like a grenade with some wires attached and a small air tube between it and the intake manifold.

I did 52 mph on a descent in Newfoundland, riding a Greenspeed recumbent trike while towing a loaded BOB trailer.

Why worry about the health of the entire planet if its just going to get demolished to make way for a hyperspace bypass?

Ha, I was just thinking about this, but in another way. I recently bought a Mercedes Sprinter, and realized I could swap out the badging for not only Freightliner badges, but also Dodge Ram badges. Ha!

People “driving”, but they’re clearly not spending nearly enough time watching the road...

Of course its staged. Its staged like an unboxing with James May specifically because he’s so good about the details. Its completely a paid promotional piece. But that’s fine, because its a set up situation that is perfect for a guy like May to engage in. He loves cars, he loves small, hot hatches, he loves that (to

Oh man, the response to this comment is so obvious...

The last hotel I stayed at had a really nifty feature: The safe wasn’t bolted to the room.

I’ll only agree with this sentiment if the driver of said loud-ass car is exposed to the same level of noise the rest of us are. In most of these installations, the exhaust noise is significantly louder at the exhaust pipe outside than inside the vehicle. Same with motorcycles.

I have a 9/11 road trip too. My wife and I were scheduled to FLY from San Francisco to Boston that evening, on American Airlines no less. Obviously, that didn’t happen, and because Boston stayed closed, our flight kept getting canceled and rescheduled further and further in the future.

Well, maybe for the Model X. The Model S is coming up on its 6th year anniversary. I have a 2013 Model S P85 (that’s an 85 kwh pack) that will drive 254 miles on a full charge today, and thats with 5 years of use on its original battery pack (50,000+ miles). And I’ve found that in most conditions, the stated range on

So, if manuals are going away, can we get rid of the center console automatic “stick”?

I bought a new car with a 6-speed manual. It was also a wagon. And it was a diesel. And had a turbo.
