Yeah, that was before 9/11.

Aluminum F-150s are having some challenges too, although Ford bodyshops are getting up to speed. Independents are lagging due to the tooling and experience working with aluminim.

That’s my new ringtone.

To be fair, Tesla’s plan for the Gigafactory has always included battery recycling. They haven’t really talked it up much (partly, I suspect, because they’re still working out the details), but it has always been there.

Well, they’re not really trying to keep it hush-hush. They just haven’t been really talking it up.

Actually, Tesla does like this, and they’re already in that market. They’re already set up to accept/buy older packs from customers and use those packs for grid storage.

Fun fact: Tesla’s been one of the most heavily shorted stocks on the market since 2012...

Oh, and that makes it ok? Yeah, no.

VW Vanagon Westfalia.

Yeah, because Tucker Carlson won’t let any guest he doesn’t like finish a sentence before he holds up his hand at them and interrupts saying “Wait, wait, wait, if you can just answer the question”...

Tesla has done the first one too though, they’ve rolled back Autopilot functions now and again due to incidents that have happened. The Autopilot functions they’ve limited take place over the air, and owners don’t have a choice about it (which is also why these lawsuers are pissed off). They make changes to the

“Autopilot for pilots is safe.”

Not profit on it yet. “Yet” being the operative word.
