"But why are they taking away a feature that everyone has been demanding since the JesusPhone was introduced?"

Well, one of these Americans just died in a plane crash in Alaska.

That boxee box is looking better and better everyday.

Actually, this was just a prank by thechive and those sharks are paid actors. I think one of them even has a facebook.

Engadget is reporting not until next year will this happen. You have failed me for the lsat time Cox. ugh

Thank you Cox for pulling your cranium out of your rectum and realizing how bad your DVR was. Now, don't take all year rolling this out to all the major markets. Just this evening I was complaining to the girlfriend that it may be time to return to DirecTV. Don't test my patience!

@angstman: Good point. VZW just loves to gimp their phones. And they are quite fond of the gimmicks. The whole "Red Droid Eye" wreaks of marketing misdirection.

Stars Wars and eFuse... Motorola just doesn't get it. Why do these major tech corporations treat us like fucking children?

uh oh Casey... the music industry is gonna BACK TRACE your sources! In all seriousness home made vinyl records would be pretty damn cool to own. If anything else just for the conversation piece aspect.

@tallguy425: Totally. Because a few shirts by profit seeking individuals trumps years of endless "I'm a Mac, I'm a PC" ads that Apple fans just couldn't get enough of.

@pz: You call them an annoying ex-girlfriend where all the information flows down to you but never back out to them. :)

no android app?

Who knew that Ballmer and Goya were friends?! I mean I knew Ballmer was old but that's something else. :)

I don't really ever post pictures but I fail to see why a post with just a picture and no text is worthy of a ban. As they say, a picture is worth a thousand words. I think at times a picture sums up certain feelings quite nicely and more effectively than putting it in writing. Additionally, if a post, for instance,

Bugless Beast is quite clean and snappy on the Moto Droid. Hopefully over time these bloated phones feel it's awesomeness.

@phinn: The useless non-removable voice recorder app on my iPod Touch feels pretty bloaty to me. I'm sure it would be super cool if the Touch had a built-in mic. Additionally, some would argue that bloat is a lesser evil than dealing with the Apple app store dictating what apps you can and cannot install.

AT&T and Verizon will both come to regret this when Google rolls out their own wireless and fiber network nationwide over the next two decades. It's in their best interests to keep you on the internet. Data caps don't serve that purpose well. I can't imagine Google sitting on their hands and allowing it to be the norm

@Lincoln Burrows: Agreed. As a Gmail imap user there is no better desktop app than Thunderbird. Of course Gmail doesn't really need a desktop app. Regardless, having used all three, neither Outlook or Apple Mail comes even close to Thunderbird when it comes to playing nice in Google's sandbox.

In other news, bears shit in the woods.
