I think there's something to be said when you as a comic book company have run out of original story line ideas and instead is forced to push out sequels and nostalgia hooks. Civil War I was very original and relevant when it first came out (though clearly somewhat imitating V is for Vendetta), it was very much a

True. Also the artwork in World War Hulk is an underrated gem.

I get that and I'm all for new talent..but dang.

Why does the artwork feel so cheap for a major crossover? Is Marvel trying the cost-effective approach?

Like sand through the hourglass so are the days of our Whovian Downvotes.

Just barely. They a huge recent overhaul of the [as] boards and now it's no better than a cheap Reddit knockoff. The traditional message board is pretty much dead in the water. I was a long-time member of those boards, since '05, and only stopped posting there until a couple of years ago. The place was pretty much

Same. Toonami was really where my love affair with anime started. Not only Outlaw Star and DBZ, but they also had classics like Ronin Warriors, Tenchi Muyo, Gundam Wing, and Rurouni Kenshin. When Adult Swim happened that was merely icing on the anime cake for me.

Man, they had lots of crazy experiments in those years. Some of them worked and some of them didn't but it was always a thrill to be a part of the ride. Animes like Witch Hunter Robin and Wolf Rain proved that Adult Swim were willing to take risks. Reign was a total flop but still—worth it.
I was really, really upset

There was definitely some interesting animes in those early years. Not only did you have Bebop but relatively coolsauce oddball animes like Fooly Cooly and it gave the early network so much life and vitality. And who could forget the short-lived Reign: The Conqueror? Alexander The Great wearing a bloody codpiece!

It's like a koala bear crapped a rainbow in my brain!

This was a great supercut and I can't thank you enough for posting this, Great Job Internet. This really helped cheer me up. Even though the fear is still there, the fear of being gay in a country that idolizes guns and adores hateful rhetoric, I can still find some semblance of strength from these videos. So again,

Amazing how quickly we've forgotten about Orange Is The New Black.

I have no idea when it comes to the pricing but I'm sure you can do it fairly on the cheap. At least cheaper than when it comes to financing a traditional wedding.

Or just go to a Vegas Chapel in a drunken pique and do that licensing thing and then wake up like Ashton Kutcher in the morn, full of confusion but Cameron Diaz!

I thought Lumberjacks were primarily Lumberjacking it.

Not often. My smiles tend to be fake, insincere, and creepy. I keep the feels on the inside.

Ah yes, weddings. That hallow conceited pageantry of ostentation, where one spends effectively the down payment on a house, usually from the pocketbooks of their parents, all for a ceremony where it's less "till death do us part" and more "how long can we keep this facade together before we divorce?" And what would be

*whispers* That's Chappie.

The only things I've seen him in lately are commercials. That's hardly living for an actor. Though it tends to bring in the big bucks, I suppose.
