Catsuka has dug their own digging and are attributing most of it to the director. They’ve dug up past work of his that was also used plagiarized material.

...What would make you think the show as animated at 40fps? Most anime are on average 12-24fps.
Gita have you played Planet Coaster? It’s one of my favorite sims, and this article is getting me hype for Planet Zoo ahhhh
I’m only slightly new to 3D, but raytracing doesn’t mean much unless there’s pbr materials right? Like there’s a plugin going around right now that’s essentially raytracing for any game, but I assume it’s treating every object as a diffuse material unless actual texture work is done?
Great article Gita, it hit 100% on how I feel about where GoT has gone and (might be?) going.
I feel like I’m in the minority on this, but man, that episode felt so much like a $2 stock-fantasy book. I ended the ep going “That was it?”
This is the most I’ve cried in years
You can see this trend of them not wanting to give a game a long life well after its release. Even Dota, their most popular game by far, barely gets the kind of love you see from Riot towards League of Legends.
Can’t wait to see the usual high-profile suspects in esports bend over backwards to tell us there’s no problem with how the industry treats women talent.
I mean isn’t there a contradiction between what you’re saying and what Not Enough Day Drinking is saying? Yeah it got some eyeballs, but clearly not a large amount, which does speak to the racism at hand from the media, but even so now it’s at least gotten way more attention than before.
If they want to boost sales they should probably try putting some software on it that’s not a port. I know Smash is coming but that’s still one game.
There’s a moment in one of the matches where a human player “blinks” (short teleport) into the bot team to use his ultimate on them. He gets it off, but before doing literally anything else, within a second the enemy bot player “hexes” him (turns him into a chicken, essentially stunning him but he can move around,…
That’s a nice analogy actually, damn.
A frank conversation is something I doubt they care for honestly. If someone posts this article on the subreddit, they will all but likely avoid it. Like you said, the problems in Dota are systematic, and I honestly believe the community is also a good chunk of that problem as well. I really hope I’m wrong though!
I might not be saying anything new, so I apologize if that is the case, but I’m starting to wonder if Valve even wants to change anything? The mood around the dota community seems to be that Valve does as minimal work as possible to try and get players interested, such as introducing new features to the game, only to…
I’ve been frequenting r/dota2/, r/overwatch, and r/csgo for years now but holy shit the Guild Wars 2 subreddit is by far much more toxic and shitty than all of the above. Disgusted.
Insomniac, not Sucker Punch, come on.
I’m gonna watch it eventually because it seems cute and the animation looks phenomenal, but MAN her design is so weird to me!
Hmmm
Oh my friend, you should check out the dota subreddit thread on it. And I know I know “That’s just reddit”, but that sub is like, a large chunk of the community around the game.
