Whaaaaa! No part of the sky is unobscured. Freakin rain...only in California where we have drought like conditions for years, neh, a decade does it rain in biblical proportions during the first lunar eclipse to fall on the same day as the winter solstice in 372 years. Damn clouds.

@ikari...renaming the file does not do anything, at least for this scareware (I tried that first move too). It basically just looks for any new processes and kills them as soon as they start, regardless of name.

FYI: I'm a computer consultant and I have seen this scareware numerous times. It may display itself under different names but ultimately the "cannot run as it is infected" error msg is a constant. Boot into Safe mode, turn off the proxy setting that the scareware turned on, download Malwarebytes and get the updates
