@ZackBoe: I see it too. Weird...

@revolverx: I'm in Canada too. Enjoy the free tethering while it lasts! I'm with Rogers and have heard they will be taking the 'free' out of it at some point in the future. It's all marketing... get people used to tethering so they can;t live without it, and then start charging for it. Bastards.

@CaptainJack: I think all iPhones do this already. If I watch an identical youtube video through the iPhone app, and through youtube's new mobile site, youtube's mobile site is MUCH clearer and I'm guessing is therefor less compressed. I was connected via 3G when I tested this out.

    Get to the wax choppah!!

@NuevoLeon: I agree with you. To add on to your thought, I think Apple will eventually admit to it's design flaw... I believe they haven't yet because they don't want to hurt their "opening" sales stats, which they love using in their own marketing.

@Kerensky97: There are tons of iPhone apps that operate as remote keyboard/mouse. Some good ones are even free, like the Logitech app. I use my home PC while I'm on the road through my iPhone all the time with VNC/RDP apps.

@jellyandtoast: "thank you for your intelligent, coherent reponse. there seem to be far fewer of those on these sites these days."

    "It is just a phone."

@tyrellcorporation: My mood was fine until I got a bunch of idiotic replies in this thread.

@tyrellcorporation: "Number one: It's simple design takes nothing from the iP4." - That's a matter of personal taste, isn't it? You can't seriously be saying that EVERYONE will think the bumper case looks good... that's crazy talk.

@Alluvian: ALL cases insulate the battery, if you want to get technical. It's just that some insulate more than others. The bumper will certainly insulate the phone. But it already has a glass front and back; glass being one of the better insulating materials on earth.

@daPrinz: I have an iPhone 2g. I've dropped it 12 feet straight down onto a brick driveway with no case on it. It was fine other than a dent and a scrape. I doubt iPhone 4g would have survived.

@Doug-E-Fresh-91: I don't like cases. I feel they take away from the feel and aesthetic of my phones. Plus, cases insulate the battery, causing it to get warmer and therefor less battery life. No one should be expected to HAVE to own a case to protect a phone from a 1 foot, or any reasonable fall.

@Serigei: Cool, thanks for the info. That'll teach me to listen to my IT friends and take it at face value.

@Random Acronym: This isn't a tech help forum. Don;t expect any help here. Especially when you don;t include any details of your system.

@Serigei: Do you want audio over HDMI? If so, only the AMD cards do that through software. nVidia cards can, but you have to connect audio headers directly to the video card from your audio card or motherboard.

I'm on board too, as long as they don't build one beside, or on top of CERN's LHC. That would just be a recipe for disaster!

@zuberio: Totally. Look at their faces too. Trinen looks disgusted and Miyamoto looks very unimpressed.

@Big-Tool: I like the dual mic/noise canceling tech. Of course we can't say whether or not it's any good since it isn't released yet... but knowing Apple, they wouldn't implement that feature if it wasn't up to par.

@ryusage: Notice though that the article mentions the sealed glasses also came back positive for germs? My guess is that they are just reused glasses sealed in a bag to make us feel better.
