Anyone ever left a gray mark across something from aluminum foil? I seem to have memories of doing exactly that. I would be worried that I'd discolor my carpet.

I, on the other hand, do NOT particularly like the mechanical pencil idea. It just seems like an easy way to snap the thing right off. Way too much weight, way too far away from the fulcrum, with no simple disengagement. A swiss army knife can only put pressure on one side of the pin at a time. Much harder to snap it…
You're right; I didn't read that closely. Thanks for catching it.
I'm not in the market for business cards ATM, so I don't really want to go research it myself, but I would remind everyone else to look carefully at who owns the artwork on your cards.
Really fast follow-up? lol
I think the initial contact of any conversation deserves full formality. But replies don't always have to have them - it depends on the context.
Don't you need your return address in the upper-right-hand corner?
I bet (without having clicked through, shameful I know) that they mean letting it heat up to something a bit warmer (say, 80?) - not that you should turn off your thermostat altogether.
@tylerbrainerd: I'm going to agree with your statement. It is not a Basic Human Right to have a trial by jury. It's not. Life and Liberty. Freedom to exist, and freedom to make one's own choices. Those are the only two basic human rights.
I'm'a bet their lawyers say no to that one...
I do rice on an electric stove all the time. 8 (of 10) until it boils, then drop it to 5 forthwith. Continue to decrease the heat as needed to keep the bubbles from reaching the lid, and you can even avoid the boil-over.
Maybe you can hire a spokesperson for safe driving...
They'll save that one for Evil Week.
Yes, I was about to say exactly this. I have three secure passwords. Each only gets used once, so it's not because I repeat them. I just don't have that many places I really care about someone gaining access to my account.
I'm not sure I understand the syntax. If my question is, "How do I match my socks with my tie," should I send:
This doesn't seem very ethical. It's basically gaming the system in the same way spammy sites used to game Google. The only thing more spammy about this would be making a script to do it for you.
Three words - Professional Learning Network!
My school has this capability built into our webpage service. I'm looking for ways to set it up to help my students. As a band director, I want to have a REALLY good reason if I'm going to do anything that doesn't involve instruments on faces! (Percussion kids excepted from the face thing, obviously!)
