There are so many on the road because the first owner had it for 10 years and only put 12,000 miles on it going to church and bridge night at the senior center. They’re really just as awful and unreliable as any GM product of that era.

No amount of skipping the bar is going to let me save up enough for a downpayment in my area. Would love to buy instead of rent. It’s completely unfeasible.
Remember that rent will increase, sometimes yearly. Your mortgage won’t. That $1,500 mortgage that seems a bit difficult to pay now, will be easier to pay for in the future. Go to the bar less and buy a house.
And also you are paying taxes, mortgage interest, and maintenance costs: they’re built into your rent.
Haha, no. Get out of New York much? Because Rent control is effectively exclusive to the greater NYC area, a few cities in California (mostly metro SF-Oakland), and some parts of the DC metro.
Additionally, a renter still pays for the costs of major things too. They just ‘hide it’ in the cost of the rent. Unless the actual owner is rather inept with his setting his rent costs.
Can we PLEASE dispel the myth that renting = no maintenance or repair costs? As a renter, you are responsible for basic maintenance (including things like filters), and for anything that you break or damage (like clogged toilets or sinks). Plus depending on your lease you may be responsible for snow removal from…
What if the Jezebel bloggers are honest about Clinton when she does something liberal or feminist or cool, and are equally honestly about Clinton when she does something illiberal or politically cynical or not cool?

Finally breaking the empty suit glass ceiling.
Thank you!
Steam vehicles required time to warm the boiler. They also had terrible throttle response. They were good for long cruises.

Let’s just walk it back a step or two. I can kind of accept the label of inventor for Edison, even though most of what he, or the hundreds of employees he paid to do the work for him, did was perfect existing id as. But, to call him a physicist is akin to calling a junior high kid who did a neat science fair project…
You guys really oughta stop sucking Elon’s dick.
Those Tesla Model 3 preorders are going to crash as soon as production models get into people’s hands. Why? Because people ordered hoping that they’ll get a $100k Model S for Nissan Leaf money. Not gonna happen. They won’t even get a Tesla-badged Nissan Leaf for Nissan…
“electric cars were popular among women in particular, because “early gasoline cars required more strength to crank than most women possess.” (Thank goodness we as a society have evolved in more than just the automotive industry, right?)“
You’re on spot w/ your take on Warren and I’ll and double up in that Bernie doesn’t deserve nor will take that piss bucket either — for HRC to offer it up would be an insult.
Not gonna be Elizabeth — she would sooo upstage Queen Hillary on her coronation and that is not gonna happen. Elizabeth can stand on her own and doesn’t need to ride HRC’s coattails into the office.
Elizabeth Warren is too talented, brilliant and dedicated to fighting the country’s economic injustices to even be considered for the proverbial position of a warm bucket of piss.
One of the more light-hearted U.S. Army W.T.F. moments. The Indian Wars supercuts are hard to watch, even with the Benny Hill theme.
