Agreed. That song gives me chills. It’s so perfect for the emotions you’re feeling at the time. I am not a fan of FF7, but the soundtrack is easily the best part and something other video games could look to for inspiration on how to do a score right.

These choices make it feel like we’re not supposed to like it and are lying to him if we say we do like it.

I have faith in the humor. Arin Hanson (Egoraptor) has proven he’s a pretty talented comedy writer if you go back through his animations dating back to Newgrounds days. Girlchan in Paradise is still regularly quoted among me and my friends, for example. (“That explains.... everything! Oh THAT EXPLAINS everything. THAT

The biggest problem Diablo 3 had, and in fact still has, is all the stuff that was in the launch of the game.

I mean seriously Kirk, it’s not that long of a game.

Diablo 3. Necromancer season is on us, baby!

Geese: The character you add to your game when you want your players to ragequit over impossible bosses.

Woah, burying the lede.

Did you just say racism and prejudice are different things?

Yes, to the same degree that the *entire human race is.* Literally saying “all whites are _____” is racism.

The problem isn’t the alignment, the problem is players are too adherent to alignments as though it’s a hard and fast rule that must be obeyed (ironically like this article says Lawful Good alignments are prone to do.)

I feel like a lot of criticisms levied at it don’t know the plot of the Castlevania franchise as a whole. Up until the 3d ones where you find out you’re secretly Dracula, they actually had a fairly cohesive plot but it was all told outside of the actual game til Symphony of the Night. Those two IMO are non-canon

He has a networth of $3.5 million dollars at the age of 24. He made content for 6 years, and is worth more money already at the age most people graduate college. He can do whatever the fuck he wants now with his accumulated wealth and start a new business venture.

They fixed the Zodiac Spear chest bullshit? I’m all in. That singlehandedly ended every run I ever made of the game, because I’m the completionist idiot type who doesn’t want to play a JRPG if I can’t get everything.

The camera zoom sold it for me. Perfection.

As someone who once loved them and now hates them, you have to remember they were invented as a concept 12 years ago. More than a decade has gone by. The novelty has worn off; people are allowed to change their minds if they like something or not especially when you consider the sheer volume of time since it’s

I liked the concept at first, then quickly hated them in actuality. They are 90% arbitrary measures of “Doing A Thing!™” at best, and 10% are just “haha fuck you, you’ll never get this random bullshit total luck thing without cheating.”

TBH it’s the only reason I don’t have a Switch right now (and uh. Money. Always that.)

I cannot disagree more! It offers the most replayability to me due to the sheer amount of characters and the fact nobody sucks, so you can try out different things each playthrough. In the older games I tend to gravitate toward the “best” units almost every time simply because they are so much better than anyone else

Wii titles still require a Wii remote so it’s a little cumbersome to have to rig the gamepad up on my lap while still holding the wii remote, but it works fine for Radiant Dawn because it doesn’t require motion controls.
