The issue with the TRULY bad games, is not enough people own them for there to be a lot of reviews to make something “the worst game on Steam” therefore it’s going to be dominated by titles that were letdowns to established fans.

I am incredibly happy they capitalized “Hot Takes.” This might be Deadspin’s greatest contribution to society.
Why can’t we get a good fun basketball game like this on PC? ;_;
You should submit this to Dinoflask to see if he can’t make this conversation happen in one of his videos.
That For Honor clip perfectly encapsulates why I quit playing that game, hahaha. I’d be the conqueror in this scenario.
It reminds me of the classic Enix games on the SNES. That theme was explored through several games, notably Soul Blazer and the ActRaiser games.
Meanwhile, I am playing on PC and pushed a button that maxed my experience. All without burning the very precious resource that is time.
That’s one of my favorite songs. I’m particularly fond of the Turisas version (it’s a Finnish metal band.)
Nerd Rage knocks it out of the park again. WaifuQuest 2017 is such a good game you guys.
There’s a different between exploring the 3rd dimension and having “made the jump to” 3d. Early 3d fighters were awful. Ever since Street Fighter and King of Fighters dumped sprites, they just don’t feel the same.
I am going to beat all the old Fire Emblem games, because a new (to me) Fire Emblem game is coming soon.
No shit. It’s like people forgot him being a rage-filled hatemonster after being turned into a cyborg was already part of his established lore. Did the Overwatch fandom collectively forget he didn’t become peaceful and calm after accepting the teachings of Zenyatta?
Looking at 3d models in a king of fighters game just makes me sad inside. I had a hard time concentrating on actually reading the article (no fault of yours, Ian.)

Telling me I don’t “fully enjoy” games because their plots written by shitty writers does nothing for me is like telling movie goers they don’t fully appreciate a movie if they don’t understand what goes into making the CGI.
Years ago, I was that person. I remember lengthy discussions about Planescape Torment with friends, for example.
Growing up, I really liked the stories in games. I found them engaging, and credit RPGs with my advanced ability to read for my age at the time.
People loved Mass Effect 3, til it ended. Proof that on a narrative driven game, you need an ending that gives people proper payout for what they’ve gone through, or it actually kills the entire experience.
They did. It was called Federation Force. Was a 3DS game. It received mixed reviews and sold very poorly.
