"Legally nebulous" means they can't get convictions. The Texas case in the Esquire article resulted in all 23 (26?) peeps getting off, because the evidence was not collected in in a legal manner.
"...when they say only 5% of convicted sex offenders re-offend in three years, does this mean they don't rape or whatever again? Or does that mean that only 5% are arrested in three years?"
Oh, I agree, but I'm not sure why.

Yeah, I don't think it matters what the charges were, she was convicted of 4 counts of lying to the police (false information)
Wow. The Esquire article and particularly the RS/Vanessa Grigoriadis article were super disturbing.
Not just you. I've never taken a BC pill in my life, went straight to IUD (over 30 years now. I keep hearing about this miraculous thing called 'menopause', but it hasn't happened yet).
"I think it's fishy that all the jurors demanded absolute proof, when that is really not usually possible"
I don't actually see 'correspondent' as much different than a 'pundit'. She's not out counselling victims; all she's doing, basically, is following and commenting on cases. I don't see why her opinion would be any less valid than someone with a J degree. There were journalists and correspondents long before there even …
