Soo...Reznor figured out Manson was a creep a quarter century ago, and now Manson is facing repercussions for being a creep, and Reznor has to reaffirm he thought Manson was a creep 25 years ago?

The Punisher was hands-down the best Netflix Marvel show.

This may well be the best two paragraphs anyone has ever written about Star Wars...

I think it’s an actual good show. I read Zahn’s trilogy, but never made it through anything else in the EU. Tried Clone Wars but couldn’t get into it, and never bothered with Rebels. I didn’t even realize Bo-Katan was an existing character and not created for the show, and though I did know Ashoka was from the

I like what you did there...

Holy shit, Boris Johnson is only in his 50s?!?!? Based on pictures I assumed he was late 60s at least.

Whenever something like this happens, I like to hope over here and see if the commenters have grown up and/or stopped celebrating their overt racism. Guess I’ll try again in a month or so...

Rewatching TFA/TLJ/ROS is actually on my list. But I can say with a high degree of certainty that the vast majority of Star Wars fans believe TLJ was off for a Star Wars movie, because I have access to this crazy thing called the world wide web. And no one is arguing that TLJ is not, technically, a Star Wars movie. My

I think it’s funny that your response to my first post is “that’s just your opinion,” then spent the next two posts sharing terrible, terrible opinions. It’s not that TLJ introduced new themes, it’s that it threw away existing themes and tried to rewrite the mythos. Clearly some people liked it, but the VAST majority

I liked TLJ just fine on its own, the problem is it is fundamentally not a Star Wars movie.

None of this means that Josh Gad still isn’t annoying as fuck on-screen, DaBard3/Josh Gad’s Kinja account.

You fucking MONSTER!!!

Almost none of them?

Johnson gets blamed because he DESERVES most of the blame. JJ set up a framework, and Johnson is the one that peed on the framework he was given, so it wasn’t a surprise that JJ tried to course correct. I mean, holy crap, did JJ ever go way overboard in his course correction, but Johnson is the one who didn’t take the

Quick question...who is forcing you to write about this? You act like it’s some moral obligation, but if you didn’t post this story NO ONE at A.V. Club would be talking about this movie, myself included.

The King’s Speech was a decent movie with great performances by Firth and Rush. The Social Network was Fincher at his finest...

I firmly believe we need to take all allegations of abuse, in any form, seriously. But at this point I think it’s really on Ray Fisher to provide some details here, because right now it sure feels like “actor angry about new director reducing his role in a movie.”

I actually tried to reply to this a week ago, but my laptop died and I just got my new one. First, I want to note this was a thoughtful response and I enjoyed reading it. Agreed that Watchmen is political, and the racial injustice angle *could* have worked. I think it’s just the way they went about everything felt

To each their own, but I couldn’t disagree more.

I feel the same way about HBO’s Watchmen that I do about The Last Jedi. Both were good in and of themselves (Watchmen moreso than TLJ), but absolutely dreadful when considered in the context of the worlds in which they reside. It would have been much better to create a new universe in which to tell this story;
