If you’re finishing the bottle and buying another, I feel like that’s money well spent! As opposed to buying a bunch of mediocre cheap options that you use 1/3 of because you’re not happy with them.

So, it looks like we’re counting BB creams? If so, I am a forever devotee to Suntegrity’s 5-in-1. It has SPF 30, perfect for my no-makeup-makeup days with a little concealer + blush and brow pomade... AND I can use it as a base for heavier coverage foundations if I want to look glam but also have spf. It lasts well

Oh, I have actually been wanting to buy this to keep in my purse for touch-ups/added SPF throughout the day. But I have normal/dry skin and keep getting nervous it will be too drying...

i find that some cosmetics (lipsticks, mascara) are pretty interchangeable between price points. foundation is not one of them. once you invest in high-end foundation, there is no going back. i probably buy 2 bottles of this stuff a year and it’s worth it. all things considered, if takes $120 per year to walk out of

I actually strongly prefer no SPF in my foundation. I have a tinted moisturizer with spf, a primer with SPF, setting powder with spf, regular face sunscreen, etc. When I want a full face of foundation, I just want its sole job to be making me look beautiful :)

Nah, I seriously doubt it goes that deep. She’s just hedging to avoid turning off any audience. I’m sure she’d have an equally diplomatic opinion on any subject that splits 50/50 in the public.

I agree that no one should care what she thinks.

dollars to doughnuts she’s worth more than trump

if Eucerin ever fails you, sensitive skin often is fine with... oil. just oil. hempseed and grapeseed are the best since they have the right ratios of oleic acid (makes sebum thick, can be comedogenic) to linoleic acid (makes sebum runny.)

If anyone is looking to buy me a gift...

Yeah, she was hospitalised for eating clay and seed pods and shit like that, and it was classed as an eating disorder, but when I read that, my mind immediately jumped to pellagra or some other nutritional deficiency-type thing. No surprise her fucked-up-sounding mum wouldn’t have picked up on it, what with her head

I think you might have nailed it.

Yeah, but about 40% of Americans plan to vote for this dipshit, so that doesn’t make me feel great about the state of our country.

Life hack: when your answer is yes it doesn't matter either.

I’m leaning the other way, like, the explicit invitation is for drugs, but with an implied “If so, you guys should join us back at our place. We’ll have some drinks, do some blow, get in the hot tub and see where it leads...”

I’m not sure how one would do this. The first consideration would be "what fabric?" Anything synthetic will definitely put you and your surroundings at risk - polyester, rayon, spandex. Cotton would be better, but I'd be afraid to try a 'controlled burn'. Silk might also work; linen, Flax. Be careful!
